The upper camp host, maybe Patty?, was awesome. Super friendly and helpful and....happy!

We loved our campsite in loop E near the reservoir. We had a level site, trail to the lake, and good sun exposure to keep our solar panels charging our batteries in our rv. We were there during the week, and we had many open sites around us, now that the kids are back in school and families can only camp on weekends. The outhouses were spotlessly clean and well-supplied. We were very happy to be there.

Our host was very accommodating and friendly. They helped us to get settled in to a campground spot that better suited our needs for our family. Thank you for making our stay one that was memorable.

We had a site with riverside access-beautiful walk on small trails alongside the river and ample space between other camp sites. Camp host, Patty, was very helpful when we arrived. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

G Loop - 67. First time camping at Chapman. Hope to he back many more times to this beautiful and well kept property. The G loop sites are well spaced and plenty of trees. Very peaceful.

This was one of the cleanest and beautiful campsites we have ever been to. The camp hosts, Rob and Kay, were warm, friendly and diligent in their work at cleaning the restrooms, cleaning and maintaining the grounds, and interacting with campers. We will be back.

Such a gorgeous campground and an amazing site!

This is a gorgeous site and perfect for short R.V.s or tents. This site is not on a loop so you will have to go to the end near the toilets to turn around for your rig to sit with doors facing the river and/or to exit. Dont take anything bigger than 24 down the road to this campsite. The path from the parking spot to the fire pit and picnic table has natural steps so definitely dont plan for toddlers, wheelchairs, or persons with ambulatory issues to comfortably navigate this site. The site is right on the river and very large. Loved it!

We had a 21' tent trailer on Loop F, site 49. This area is removed from the reservoir camp loops and is very quiet and relaxing. Fishing in the Frying Pan River is available on the East side of the loop and kayak, paddle board, fishing and canoeing are all within 5 minutes at Chandler Reservoir. The campground is managed by American Land and Leisure, the bathrooms are very clean and well-maintained, the grounds are mowed and trimmed. The campground offers easy access to hiking and 4-wheel trails. Unlicensed ATVs are not allowed. The area is very busy on weekends but offers good access during the week.

Bathrooms: excellent Site: super clean Bears: totally there and will get into any unlocked vehicles including campers. My husband forgot to lock his truck and we woke up to all the doors open and no crumbs left in the truck. It couldve been way worse. My car had a bear paw mark on it but it was locked so they were SOL.

Great campsites and big campsites so you have space. Wonderful area and great wildlife. We saw our first wild moose. Highly recommend.

Cleanest campground bathrooms ever!!! Thank you campground hosts!

This is definitely the best spot in Loop A. 100ft away from the resevoir, a slight walk from the parking lot so you're not seeing cars, a direct path to the water/dam...we loved this spot. Would absolutely pick again. Only downfall was no trees around the picnic table so bring a canopy.

Nice large campground. Camp hosts were helpful. Beautiful area.
@DanielS7047089 · Camped on Jun 7, 2024 at Campsite #50
This is a good trip. However it used to be better before they added more camp sites around the reservoir severely limiting access especially for those with disabilities. This has caused lots of issues of people being blocked in and out of campsites. And the host dont do anything about it. Its really to bad that adding a few campsites has ruined the experience when they could have easily added them in other areas.

Please dont visit here! You wont like it! The restrooms (outhouses) are kept clean and well supplied. The camp hosts are friendly and hardworking. The campgrounds are pretty and well maintained. Many have great views and those that dont have a scenic view have plenty of trees around to create a lovely campsite.

Great facility!! Clean and very pleasant. Beautiful lake with lots of small trout. Perfect for SUP. No cell phone at all...which I like, but my wife did not due to her need to be in touch with clients. Highly recommend!

This campground is very remote and an hour drive to closest town if you wanted to go in for breakfast. Beautiful campground!! Beautiful drive to get here. The bathrooms were very clean & smelled refreshing. Very enjoyable stay.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
