Camp host (female) was very rude. My mom is handicapped and we parked by the dumpsters, where there were stop sticks, so my mom didnt have to walk so far to the boat and she said we couldnt park there. Not very catering to handicapped people. After Labor Day, we were pretty much the only campers there and she still wouldnt let us park by the dumpsters to accommodate us. Not sure if we will be returning there next year with our large group.

Location was great, neighbors, not so much!Ran generators all day. Not really the serine experience we were hoping for.

Beautiful reservoir, well maintained and great spacious site. Vault toilets are close and convenient and as clean as a vault toilet can be. Its probably ideal if you are with the group in site 9 because there isnt any barrier, or great opportunity to make friends! Water was high this year (compared to our last visit in 2022) so beach is minimal in site 8 but perfect for water access and still tons of fun. Bring shade as there is none in this spot.

Not sure what the point of the setting rules is if they dont plan on enforcing them - kept my dogs on leash all weekend but had a German Shepard roaming around our campsite multiple times that we found out was from a campsite at least 4 sites away. Also had dogs running back and forth off leash up from us too. The entitlement of people and their friendly dogs is getting ridiculous.

Overall a good site. There is no cell service whatsoever so if you need that you'll need to drive 15 minutes to Kermmling. Camp hosts were helpful. When we went the winds were really intense throughout the day; almost left a couple of times because of this but it died down in the evening. Bring your own shade because there isn't it. I did like there was a bear box to keep our food in.

Nice little campsite.Extremely accessible which is pro and con depending on what you're looking for-- it's a few minute drive from the stores and shops on Lake Arrowhead and directly across from the hospital. Still super quiet at night but not silent.Hot as hell while we were there.

Dogs off lease coming into our campsite and growling and threatening us from two different campsites.One was from four campsites away.. Felt unsafe after telling camp host, who told people to leash dogs. They knew it was us who complained. we left two nights early, One of our worst experiences in 50 years of camping. Who gives a s...t about rules?

Campground hosts cleaned the bathroom 3 times a day which was very nice. Great spot and would be even better if the water in the reservoir was higher. Will note that was very very windy when we were there. We were lucky to have a spot that had bushes to block some of the wind but many of the others had no coverage at all.

Great campsite! No water views (lots of tall grass) but you are right up against the reservoir. Perfect for setting up a couple chairs and watching the sunset. Campsite was very spacious. A bit close to the adjacent spots but to be expected at a public campground. Since it's near the water expect some bugs/flies around. Two restrooms to choose from, both were a short walk away. They were pretty clean, although we did not see a host all weekend.

LOVE this campground! Have stayed here twice now in the late summer and it was wonderful. Great facilities, amazing waterfront and the campsites are a great distance apart. The water levels in 2019 meant that water front site were actually quite a walk to the water but this year in 2023 the water was at 110% and the brush along the waters edge for most sites helped keep the wind and bugs away.

Loved this campsite. Removed enough from town but did not feel secluded. The campsite was very spacious and we loved being right on the water. The views were amazing and we enjoyed spending time there. The name of the campsite does live up to its name as the cows mooed all night! Loved the campsite and hope to use again in the future!

The highlight was how quiet and clean the campground was. The negatives were: the grass at our site needed to be cut (almost calf high), NO cell reception at all not even the host had cell reception which is a major safety concern, the road was very rough, the sites are not level at all, for the price I expected better.

This was an incredible camping spot. My friend and I camped at spot #11 which was right on the water of the Green Mountain Reservoir. like about 6 feet from the water, which did mean it was very buggy, so be warned. I wish I had known there were going to be bear lockers! It was great that they had the lockers, the fire pit, and the picnic table. There's also hole in the ground toilets with a seat nearby at other campsites that we were able to use as well. There's lots of hiking trails nearby, but the main attraction is to swim in the reservoir.

No camp host presence. Other campers were using construction grade generators all day and playing loud $&@ music until 1 in the morning. These campers were rude when approached and sadly thought it was funny that we had a concern

Spacious sites with privacy. Loved our spot right next to the water. The kids loved that they had their own little private beach. Rented a pontoon from the boathouse and it was the best 4 hours on the water with the family and dogs. Great location!

Lovely campground, cleanest chamber pot I've ever used, close to a beautiful resevoir where we could walk our paddleboards to the water

Human feces at our site, right next to the bear bin and covered in toilet paper. The host was nowhere to be found. Horrible experience

5/5 stars! Mountain peak views and lake view. 30 min drive to Silverthorne for restaurants if you’re not big on cooking while camping.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
