Beautiful location, well kept sites. Camp host was fantastic! Very helpful and personable.Bathrooms however were the only mediocre part. That being said, it was very obvious that the camp host did not have the necessary tools, supplies, or resources to competently take care of this portion. Scarce water resources, deck scrubbers, odor deterants, etc.,I have seen this before. That being said. I remeber a camp host once that had a water tank and pressure washer on his company truck. Bathrooms were spotless and zero odor.Give your camp hosts better and more resources. I'm a man, dont really care, I'll piss and number 2 in the woods, no biggie. However, The ladies, moms, kids?

Campground was neat and clean, corrals were good with the exception of the closing poles that couldve been a little more sturdy. Camp host was wonderful and very attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Standard camp ground. Bear boxes and a fire ring at each site. Most are located in the trees so not muhc in the way of views but completely fine.

When we arrived, there were two Trucks and two trailers in our single reserved camp site. They had reserved other sites but moved into our camp site before we arrived. We never got the site we reserved !

Such a beautiful area!

Amazing resource! We had a wonderful few days of riding, a new trail each day. The corrals are well maintained. No shade option (not typically a problem at this altitude) but something to be aware of. Water hydrant isn't super convenient, but it is accessible. Bear boxes were at each corral. I can't wait to go back.

Equestrian group with the Mesa County Sheriff's Posse. We had thee best time ever. Thankful for the corrals so I could sleep well. The trail to the lake was fantastic! Thanks again.

There are so many great trails leading out from this campground that give you different experiences- one in the deep woods, one along a creek and one leading up a valley to some small lakes. Great place with lots of shaded areas.

Grounds were clean and easy to access. The bathrooms weren very clean. My only complaint is we were told we could not use a chain saw to cut firewood. Tried to make us buy firewood from the camp hosts.

We really had a good time camping at the Marvine horse camp tho getting water for the horses was not so great. So I recommend bringing lots of water with you. The trails were awesome! We will go back for sure.

I had not been to this campsite since 2016. It used to be so peaceful and quiet. NO MORE. We made reservations and found someone in my spot. Because it was so crowded, we elected to camp in the overflow area because our big LQ trailer wouldn't fit in and we like some privacy. There was a pen there which was much better than the one in the regular camping spots. The water pump was not working until the day we left so we had to pump water for our horses from the creek. The E Marvine trail was nice We didn't try Marvine Lakes trail because there were so many outfitters going up. It was Bow Season and that may have made a big difference. I don't think I will be driving 300 miles to that campground anymore. The camp hosts were super nice and offered to make the people in our spot move, but we were happy in the overflow area and declined.

NO WATER! Water wasn't available due the pump being broken or something. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time so that we could have brought more water. Water was available at another camp ground a few miles (10) away. The diesel truck that ran for quit a bit each morning was a bit of annoying as well. We don't run our generator until later in the day to help recharge our batteries, maybe you out to remind people to turn off their trucks or run them during non quiet hours. Other than that it's a great spot, quiet and if you have horses it's ideal.

Beautiful place to ride and camp. The corrals are a little small for more than 1 horse.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Equestrian Campground. Users are very conscientious in keeping this campground clean and trail access is great. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful as well. We plan to return again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
