Large campsite, nice views, covered eating area with tables

The campsite is really lovely! There are rocks to scramble on (nice for kids), an ephemeral creek on the edge of the site with one large cottonwood, tons of privacy compared to most camping in Indian Creek (which meant really quiet nights), and a pleasant, open-air pit toilet 100-200 yards downhill. The only reason I didn't give this site five stars is because it's quite a drive from all rock climbing. It's also not super cheap - the value for the site is moderately good.

Nice spot. Car to person ratio very out of date. Since most people in our group wanted to sleep in their vehicles we found the 10 car max a problem.

So beautiful. Not much noise from the road even though there is a lot of dispersed camping all along the road. I have never seen so many different wildflowers in this area. So glad we stayed here.

We saw about 6 trucks go by the group site during the entire week. No one around at all. No crowd, no loud vehicles, just peace and quiet. The campsite was decently clean when we arrived, but we did pull a bit of trash from the wash behind and along the camp site. The shade from the pavilion was a real luxury. We added a shade cloth to the west side to block the direct afternoon and evening sun. Consensus from our group of campers was that this is an epic campsite with unbelievable views and great hikes right out of the campsite. Good roads for biking as well. Would definitely recommend to people who enjoy dry camping. Note: The campgrounds in nearby Canyonlands NP weren't crowded at all.

The campsite was large and beautiful . The toilet situation was a bit to far from the site .

Great spot and plenty of room for our group of 15. We had 5 medium size camp trailers, 2 vans and 1 truck bed camper in our group and had ample parking inside the fenced camping area. A bit dusty when the wind blew but that’s par for the area.

Pros: A very beautiful, very remote site on the road to Canyonlands NP, Needles District. Great for groups with a large shelter covering multiple picnic tables, a fire ring, plenty of parking, and many nice tent sites. Down in a canyon of red rocks, making for beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Even a little tree coverage. Cons: Pit toilet is an open-air outhouse (meaning no door or ceiling) which makes for quite a bit of tp and trash blowing out of the facility and all over the place. Also, BIG drawback is that it is 500ft from the campsite.

Big parking lot for large RVs and a big covered shelter. The bathroom was a couple of hundred yards down the road from the camping site, but otherwise a great location.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
