The area was absolutely stunning, well kept, very close to amenities and other outdoor attractions. Restrooms are a bit primitive but clean. Would have liked a public access to the river, you had to walk through other campsites to get to it.

We enjoyed our three night stay. One day we drove to local water falls and a nice walk. The campground is quiet with sites far enough apart for privacy.

Very nice spot, in between big old trees. Slept very well, with a murmur of the nearby river. Would go there again!

Beautiful spot.

I had no problem booking camp site, web site is very well done. Most campgrounds had pictures of campsites which I thought was really nice. Eagle Rock Campground was just awesome, lots of tress and right on the river.

Beautiful spot. Clean spacious sites nestled in the Majestic Umpqua river forest. Downsides were river access was steep, yellowjackets spoiled camp cooking and pit toilets were really smelly. It's just that time of year early August. Road noise was barely there river sounds were blissful.

Adequate campsite for 6 people. Great spots for tents. The hornets were....insane. 100's of them would be around if you had food out. They weren't aggressive, but had to eat in the car.

Great campground tucked into the trees. The campsites felt very private with so much vegetation close around them.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Location and site quality was good. Unfortunately I had my campsite rummaged through= while I was out fishing and many things were stolen.

Eagle Rock is a nice location on the N Umpqua, in lush trees and foliage with full shade cover - no impact from the recent fire. Campsites are nice for tents or small RVs. Why only 4 stars? There are a few better campsites within a short distance on the N Umpqua. This one is a little bit farther from the river than others. As with all of these very lush sites, be prepared for lots of mosquitoes.

We love Eagle Rock! We make this our tradition every year with our friends and family. There’s not potable water so as long as you go prepared, it’s a beautiful spot to make memories!

The camp sites are far from each other so there is lots of privacy. The water flowing by in the river is beautiful. It is a beautiful area.

We were there right before the busy 4th of July weekend so it was pretty peaceful. What a lovely campground that was well maintained. Even though it is close to the highway, having the river next to our site made it so you really didn’t notice the highway noise. We’ll definitely return some day.

Site was gorgeous, wooded and very private. Short walk to bathroom, gorgeous view of the water and shady. Didn't have any issues with mosquitos either of the nights we were here either.

Clean, quiet, and beautiful.

While many sites are posted as OK for 30 ft RV/trailer I find it hard to believe. While the sites themselves may be that long, there is so little maneuvering room on the road - very narrow. Also, many of the sites are extremely unlevel. If you do get your trailer in there there is not really enough room for your tow vehicle, even if you unhook. The campground itself is in a beautiful area but there is a lot of road noise. Bring mosquito repellant.

There was a lot of empty spaces where people had rented spaces and no canceled reservation therefore didn’t make it very good for somebody like myself who shows up and sees all these empty spots and wants to camp. I didn’t realize I could camp another spaces if nobody showed up after the first day. Oh, I know it is to keep updating the availability of campsites so people know whether not those sites are actually rented or not.

What a great little campground! Absolutely beautiful and loved the sound of the river! A few warnings: no running water, vault toilets, and can get buggy with the river so close…but if you are ok with those things then it’s a great place.

The camps are always tidy. The outhouses cleaned well and the staff always kind. Love this campground

We were in spot 16and had a wonderful time. If the water was working the pump was located right across the road. Spots are far apart for camp grounds which made it nice. Our spot was tree covered so it was shady most of the day. Only draw back was the pit toilet it was gross and the smell was really bad.

Loved the location right by the river.

The campsite is well-maintained. Clean bathrooms, garbage facilities dispersed and provided through camp. Lower rating is due to the fact that it's so close to the road that you can hear the cars rolling by in combination with some spots being very spacious, with good parking and plenty of room for the friends while others were really tight and when booking, there didn't appear to be any indication of which would be which. Our site said it could fit 8 people and 2 cars and I can confidently tell you there was no way. No tent bigger than a 4 person would've fit anywhere on our particular plot unless you sat it where the car goes. You could maybe fit two small tents on the site, and I'd say fitting more than one car would've been a squeeze. The site just next to ours was even smaller so, just be mindful of that when booking! :)

Beautiful spot right near the river, we spent two nights here with our kids and had a good time. Draw backs include: Road noise from the Hwy, VERY SMELLY vault toilets that need to be cleaned more frequently, and rather small campsites (we struggled to even find a big enough spot to put our tent). We will probably return but will Be more selective of which campsite we reserve.

Listen to the river all day and night, soothing. Nothing like a jump into the fresh cool water of the North Umpqua. Campground is clean and friendly.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
