Caught halibut right out front. Beautiful sunset and cabin was great!

Wonderful experience, We loved the area and the cabin suited our needs perfectly. The only comment I would say we had to really clean out the wood burning stove to get it to burn and the chimney needed a good sweep. None of this was a destractor and we will definitely stay here again.

Had a fabulous “gals weekend” !
Cabin itself was clean and in good repair, plenty of dry firewood, and such a nice beach. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of trash under and around cabin…..toilet paper around the perimeter and cans in the firepit on the beach that we cleaned up. Think maybe this cabin gets some unpaid for use as we had a couple of boats pull up close and when they saw we were there they made an abrupt turn around.

One of the bunk beds is very broken. Needs to be repaired soon or it will continue to deteriorate.
Otherwise our stay was awesome.

Made it to the cabin but had a boat issue and had to go home. So didn’t get to stay this time. It’s one of our favorites and will try again soon.

This cabin's strengths are the solid construction, square footage, and front deck. It's also nice to have so many windows to provide natural light. If there is a north wind through the night with your boat anchored out, double check to make sure it is secure.
One thing I'd like is for the Forest Service to replace the rope seal on the wood stove door. Parts of it have worn away and the door lets in a lot of air; one ends up going through more firewood through the stay (which I can't think that the Forest Service wants to have happen). With the door not properly sealing, the damper is ineffective as well.

This was our 3rd year at Beecher Pass Cabin and the sunsets were spectacular. We had one day of high wind that actually produced breaker waves on the beach. Our boat turned sideways and was pinned against the beach preventing us from pushing out to anchor the boat further out. We have never seen wind this severe and we lost a whole day of fishing. The water is usually like glass. It might be wise to anchor out in deeper water and paddle a kayak or canoe in to the beach. Otherwise, it was another awesome experience!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
