Set along the picturesque Guadalupe River, this park boasts four miles of river frontage that is perfect for swimming, tubing, and fishing. Bird watchers can delight in the diversity of avian species found in the Bald Cypress-lined forest. For overnight stays, the park offers diverse camping options, including tent sites and RV-friendly spots with full hookups. Guadalupe River Campground is part of Guadalupe River State Park in Texas (56 min northwest of Schertz, TX) with an elevation of 1,152 feet. There are a total of 86 campsites including 9 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 77 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 58 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 12 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. 77 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $15.00 to $24.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include biking, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.
