Davis Mountains Campground is part of Davis Mountains State Park in Texas (2 hrs 31 min southwest of Odessa, TX) with an elevation of 5,026 feet. There are a total of 87 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 16 and 60 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 5 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. 25 sites have full hookups (electric, water and sewer). 31 sites have electric and water hookups. 31 sites have water hookups. Fees range from $15.00 to $25.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, restroom, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include hiking trails.

This is a nice long pull through site that was pretty level with FHU, table, ramada and fire pit. This site is on a small loop but there was traffic on this loop after people used the dump station, not terrible though. The amphitheater was up hill from this site which may add to foot traffic and vehicle traffic (there was no amphitheater show while we were there). Lots of green space beyond the table, providing lots of privacy. The covered ramada was nice for shade.

Back in site, fairly level, paved pad, table, firepit, water and power. Quite a large area on the passenger side of the site with some shade. The back of the site borders a dry riverbed. Hiking trails nearby.
