Beautiful, quiet, clean and great views. We were there for 4 days and plan to return. Easy back in with nice long sites. Several if not all have double parking and many are very room. Great park. Highly recommended.

Very nice spacing between sites and great restroom!

We selected this site as it is centrally located to many fun Hill Country towns in the area. Site was spacious, with room for fifth wheel, pickup and an extra vehicle. Lake is down 48% but we were not there for water activities. Hookups were sufficient, showers clean, sites clean. Would stay longer if full hookups were available. Will return if in the area again.

Absolutely a perfect place of peace and quiet. Campsites were well spaced and included a covered picket table. Probably the cleanest and well kept COE recreation area you will ever visit. The trail down to the lake was well marked and recently groomed. The lake level is very low, but South Texas is suffering from 3 year drought.

We had a one night stay at Cranes Mill Park. The campground was very nice and our site backed up to the lake. the lake level was very low with no access to the water at the time of our trip. We took a nice walk around the campground with is fairly large and saw a lot of deer and cacti.

Sizeable sites and great views. The bathhouse was well cleaned and had plenty of hot water. No septic hookup at the site, but a decent dump station available.

Crain's Mill Park was pristine, with a well-maintained landscape that reflected a strong sense of personal pride in its upkeep. The Camp Hosts were both professional and personable, always ready to share information about the best places to visit as well as the park's history. Whenever a camper departed for another adventure, the Camp Host would promptly tidy up the vacated site for the next visitors arrival.The restrooms were generally well-maintained, though they could benefit from new toilet seats. Additionally, the women's restroom needed a new hand dryer, as the existing one was no longer functional. The park did not provide paper towels, so it was important to remember to bring something to dry your hands when using the ladies' facilities. My husband noted that the men's hand dryer was in working order.Unfortunately, the lake was down by approximately 50%, which was disappointing. However, the remaining water was still beautiful and offered great photo opportunities at both sunrise and sunset.

Great park. sites have concrete pads. Fairly close but it's ok. Showers were great. Easy back in sites with water and elect. Dump station upon leaving the park. Very open area. Plenty of walking or biking within the park. The closed section is great for both. Not much near by. Be sure to visit the Heritage museum and view some real dinosaur tracks and artifacts. You will be in hill country. The lake is to low for boating.

Very relaxing campground. Close to shopping and other amenities. Less than an hour to San Antonios river walk and Alamo

We loved Cranes Mill Park! The walking and deer viewing were wonderful. The older gentleman at the gatehouse was always friendly, and fun to chat with. Our site wasnt great, with a dumpster between #21 and #23, and being close to each other. There are many other better sites. We enjoyed our stay very much, and will be back! It was fun to see the pelicans, too!

The camp hosts were the best we have encountered. Above and beyond. Not to mention the best and cleanest bathrooms.I hope we see them again in our travels. Thanks Lisa! Lisa and her husband were awesome!

Even though the weather was cold and damp, the CG was a little gem. Paved sites with water and electric. Bathrooms were clean and showers had hot water and heat.

We had a wonderful 14 day stay in Site 16! The hosts are great. The campground is well kept and the restrooms are heated and clean. Our site was level and very large. Great sunset views. The lake is really down, but still beautiful. The weather could have been warmer and drier, but oh well we still adventured out on our motorcycle and in the Jeep. Luckenbach is a great place to visit and so is Fredrickson. If you get the chance Enchanted State Park, north about 1.5 hours, is awesome! We would love to return again!

One of the best COEs we have been to!!! The sites are paved, very clean, the hosts are outstanding. The wildlife is abundant, close to amenities like laundry and groceries. Quiet, casual, and a well kept gem! It is now on our favorites list!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
