Westcliff Campground, Belton, TX

Westcliff Campground in Bell county is located just 19 min west of Temple, TX with an elevation of 627 feet. There are a total of 31 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of March to the end of September. 25 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 49 and 70 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 25 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $30.00.

Campground was quiet. Bathrooms were extremely dirty, grass and weeds at the site were tall. After using a weed eater around the covered picnic area it was very relaxing!

We went for the Eclipse, and it was a great experience. We stayed at the tent area, it was clean, and the covered table was nice. There's no trees, so if it was really sunny it might be hot, but for our time there it was perfect. The bathrooms were adequate. The other people there were not loud, so it was a good quiet experience

Site #7 was a great pull-thru site on the lake, only issue was other entitled campers thinking their dogs didn't need to be on a leash. We seem to run into idiots everywhere.

No hot water to take showers, restrooms look liked they hadn't been swept or mopped. Told Person in charge(which was not very friendly), said never had a problem with it, that he would look into it. Next evening went to take a shower and still no hot water. We did not have a pleasant experience at this site.

People in charge where very attentive to our needs and always checking around. Bathroom clean and warm. Park was also clean

We had site 01. Its right on Lake Belton and by far the biggest lot out of all of them. Great location and great people. Definitely will stay again.

I dont know that Id stay here again. Not because of the facilities or the people. The grounds were clean the bathrooms were nice and the staff were very friendly. But the tent sites are almost on top of each other to the point that when the neighboring site showed up at 11pm it sounded like they were about to set up in my site. Also with the lake down so much its a bit of a walk to get to the water. The space where the water used to be is now way over grown.

Spots were large enough to pull into easy and they were enough apart from each other to not be bothered by your neighbor. Bathrooms were clean and neat.

No trees is the biggest problem. Campsites need shade. There was NO shade at all. Please, Please plant some trees!!! Also, all the sites needed mowed. It looked terrible and you could tell no one had been taking care of this campground. We had family from out of state camping with us, and it was embarrassing to bring them to a campsite that was in such bad shape. Someone needs to be hired to keep these campsites in better shape. We were HOT because of no shade and even more uncomfortable because the campground was in such bad shape. Do not think we will ever camp here again!!!!

This park is actually in my neighborhood. We love coming down here. its a great spot for us to camp too! Park is normally clean and all of the staff that I have met have been amazing people. All super friendly and helpful.

This used to be my favorite campground, but no longer. Multiple campers ignore the quiet hours, and two weekends in a row we had loud music and thumping bass playing ALL NIGHT LONG, despite the park host attempting to engage. It was so bad we have canceled our future reservations and will not be back until this issue is resolved.
