Great spacious group campsite, helpful camp host, clean well stocked pit toilets and fresh spring water. Great place for our group of 24.

Nice, big campsite, slightly sloped, lots of trees for shade, really cool natural spring with cool, drinkable water. Nice views of the meadow. Campground isolated so no road noise, however there are lots of side-by-sides nearby that made noise at night (4th of July). Campground is down a long dirt road, recommend a truck but car will make it. Site #14 had some broken glass on the ground. Other than that, good site at end of campground with forest views.

Camp host was especially friendly and helpful.

The road within the campground is quite rough. This is a small, secluded campground. We were new to the area and after doing a day drive up to Stampede Campground, would choose that in the future.

This is a lovely little campground. The host was great and the location is beautiful. It was not super clear that there were not showers on site but the freshwater spring made up for that.

The campsite was quiet and very clean. Kitty, the host, was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Have always loved Boca Springs but unfortunately will not be returning.

Really beautiful with nice camo sites and clean facilities. The only draw back was an extremely loud group at the group camp site and the OHV's roaring through the area. The OHV users were following all the rules and were respectful in camp. The issue is the extreme volume of the machines even outside the campground. It was crazy how loud they are, good luck taking a nap during the day.

The sites could be better defined and labeled, but that's my only gripe. Sure was quiet.

I camped here with a group of friends this past weekend. A solid spot with a good tree cover and clear underbrush. Most of the sites are slanted though, but we were able to find places to pitch tents without too much rolling. The picnic tables and fire rings were in good shape. There was a bear box or two on some sites, but most didn't appear to have them yet. We just put all our food and trash away in the car every night and had no issues. The trees helped the area stay cool and still let enough open sky through. The stars were beautiful and very visible every night as there was very little light pollution. There's a meadow next to the campsite that's a beautiful spot to take in the sunset and see the stars. I didn't have much interaction with the host, but there was some firewood. It's a heavy ATV area, so that was a background noise at times. Overall though, a great time and I already recommended it to a few friends because we were able to book last minute this summer.

Beautiful campground, very well maintained.

Quiet spot amongst the trees! Camp Host was super friendly and maintains a meticulous campground. Requires smaller trailers and off-road equipped vehicles if there is weather! Short drive down the road to enjoy the reservoir!

Hana the camp host was friendly and accommodating. She was crucial in helping my wife and I have a wonderful camping experience here.

This is probably the worst US Forest Service campground I have ever stayed at. Hardly a level spot in this campground. Roads within the campground are not defined and campsites are not defined outside of a carsonite pole sticking up in an area telling you what campsite it is but no defined spot, just a general area. There were other campers nearby but I would not recommend this campground. We couldn't wait to depart the next morning.

Pretty quiet for a 4th of July weekend. Host is always pleasant. Unfortunately a campsite didn’t put out their fire and left for the day but the forest service came to the residue. I’m sure they were given a ticket or a stern warning. It’s too dangerous to have that happen in the forest.

This one of my favorite campgrounds, it is extremely clean, close to the lake, there’s a tiny creek for the kids to wet their feet, you can respectfully ride your atv/utv out of the campsite. The camp host is very friendly, they had always kept the campground very clean and they keep the restrooms even cleaner. The previous camp host, Andy, decorated the campsite with rocks (super cute). The new camp host kept the tradition and she added plants taking it to the next level of cuteness 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Host was friendly, kind, respectful. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Install Bear boxes due to active bears.

Our trip out to Boca Springs was great. The host was amazing and the grounds clean. What we really enjoyed was the size of the sites and the space between them for a more private camping experience. We will definitely go back soon!. Thank you1

The system would not let me cancel one of the three sites I reserved. Spoke to a live person and talked with the forest service person working the campground. Four weeks have gone by and have not received a refund for site 9. I could use the $175 refund.

The camp host was awesome! The camp grounds were basically empty besides him and two others that were a few hundred feet away that weekend. Great time!!!

Loved our camp host
@BrandonF687 · Camped on Aug 13, 2021 at Campsite #7
People above us were super loud yelling profanity and partying until late at night, we really wish the camp host would have dealt with it.
@JohnG177 · Camped on Jul 23, 2021 at Campsite #9
Hiking was very nice around the spring. However, several campsites had multiple (up to 6) cars (not the group campsite), and those groups also thought it was great fun to ride their small 4 wheelers back and forth through the campsite area. Honestly, the forest rangers seemed overwhelmed or spread too thin between campgrounds.
@DavidG991 · Camped on Jul 15, 2021 at Campsite #16
Beautifully situated campground - far enough from Boca Reservior and the county (paved) road to keep the party animals at bay, though like many campgrounds located in National Forests, there did not appear to any enforcement of the posted quiet hours. As of late June, the spring still had a healthy flow. Sites #16 and #2 are the most nicely situated, provided you do not find yourself next to people with little, or no, sense of respect for others. Similarly, this campground also appears to be popular with ATV enthusiasts who ride the two-track fire roads that crisscross the area. Campsite host was courteous and pleasant, but appeared mostly absent from the campground.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
