We had an amazing stay! Really clean and the creek was absolutely gorgeous! It was a little of a walk to get there but it was stunning with waterfalls and the most refreshing water

This is a small campground, right by Highway 299. Downshifting semis wake you up all night, not very restful.it did have the cleanest pit privies in the west, though.in order to do anything except for one short hike, it's necessary to drive somewhere. I wouldn't stay there again.

-Camp site was clean and well kept.-Our site, #5, was a smaller site. -Big plus was the short but fairly steep trail to Willow Creek with beautiful boulders and water holes.-Camp site is too close to the highway - so was a bit noisy.

I stayed one night, 9/9/23-9/10/23. It's close to the road so quite loud, but a convenient location. Be aware there is poison oak in the area.

The campground hosts were very nice and suggested a short hike to the beautiful creek. The NFS maintenance person (Jim) was very personable and helpful with an access/overhead clearance issue we found upon our arrival.This campground has many low tree branches...less than 10 feet clearance.Big rigs and 5th wheels should beware. NFS needs to do some serious pruning to provide adequate headroom.

Loved staying here. Campsite was super shaded and the creek was beautiful and so cold but perfect.

Good facilities and a short hike down to the creek. Beware of poison oak.

This was a beautiful camp site. It was only a few miles from Willow Creek which was very convenient. The camp host was very polite and the grounds were very clean. The trail to the creek was difficult at the bottom and the trek back up is a work out. I felt it was worth it. The landscape is rugged and wild. I would definitely return.

Pros: beautiful forested sites, cool hikes down to the creek, clean, clean bathrooms, close to nice little town of Willow Creek. Cons: lots of traffic noise, lock on one of the bathrooms was broken.

The spot and the host were nice. The campground is very close to the road so it is noisy. The pit toilets were very clean.

Pros: - Water available - Some phone coverage Cons: - Sites are close together - Not much privacy - Not enough bathrooms - Long walk to the creek - Lots of road noise The best sites are on the outside of the loop furthest from the road.

This campground was small and right off the main road. The campsites themselves were small. However, we absolutely loved our weekend at Boise Creek, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a site in a pinch. The little creek nearby is not a lavish swim hole, but it is great for a morning coffee or just to check out! Visiting during the pandemic resulted in a lot of the Hoopa Valley swimholes being closed, but it was overall a great trip, and the campground was just right.

We loved it here! Nice, small and quiet campground. The fill-in host Mike was helpful and attentive. There is a nice hike down to the stream, and just a couple miles away in the town of Willow Creek there is a nice river you can swim in. Very little shade by the river so I would recommend bringing an umbrella! The campground was nice and shaded, campsites were spaced out so we had our privacy. My only complaint is that the campground is right off the main highway, so we could hear cars and trucks driving at night. Overall, great experience.

The campground is small as are the campsites, but pretty well spaced. Very friendly and informative host. The hike down to the creek and dip in the swimming hole made Boise Creek a hit in my book!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
