The campground itself was very clean and nice. Restrooms good, camp host good. The only problem we had was with the registration person at the Eastwood Camp Store. What a witch! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! We had paid for everything online when we signed up. I was fully aware there would be an additional charge for an extra vehicle, and had paid for this online. Apparently, she encounters a lot of people that didn't know extra vehicles = extra charge, and she thought we were trying to say there was no extra charge. We were not, but she wouldn't listen and continued to berate us and insinuate that we were stupid. The two of us who went into the store BOTH have doctorate degrees, had fully read the terms and conditions and were aware of all charges (that we had PAID!). What a wicked old witch!

If you would like to party and play music this is not for you. They even bother you before quiet hours if you even talk a little louder than normal. They basically want you to whisper! Not much space between the lots, so sound travels really easily.

Nice campsite in a beautiful area. You have to walk or drive to the lake but lots to do in this area.

We always love camping at Kinnikinnick. This is our 3rd year here and we will keep going back. We love the convenience of being so close to the little towns of Huntington Lake and then not too much further, Shaver Lake. Don't get me wrong...camping remote can be fun, but it's so nice to be able to run into town for something you may have forgotten. We love the location, and how close it is to Huntington Lake, Shaver Lake, Mono Hotsprings, and so many other hiking and adventurous spots. The camp hosts are always amazing too. It's so nice that they go around and check on everyone and keep obnoxious people quiet at night when the rest of us are trying to sleep at decent hours.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
