Campsite was flooded with an apparent stream going through the middle. 3 inches of water in the fire ring so no campfire or grille. Tent camping was out so had to sleep in the car. No availability of any other sites.Learned that senior citizen rate was available only after discussing at the station. Not offered through recreation.gov

fairly open campsites, if you are bringing hammocks, make sure you check the specific site you are at. We were able to hang ours but there were other sites that couldnt. Because there are no trees it gets very windy here, remember to tie down your tent.

This was just a fantastic campsite. We were a bit worried by the lack of water at first, but a gravity filter set up made that easy to manage. The campground was beautiful and it was never loud or busy, though there were campers coming and going through the week we were there.

We stayed for 2 nights at campsite 4, it was very peaceful. The sunrise was beautiful. It was my 7 & 11 year olds first time tent camping (so we were nervous about food getting dropped and a bear showing up) no problems. They wanted to stay 3 nights!!! Lots of memories made!

We loved camping here! We ended up here because the Yellowstone flood closed Mammoth Campground. This campground was close to the east entrance of Yellowstone so we didn't miss out on seeing anything because of the flood cancelation. The host Walt was great too! Very knowledgeable about the area and the bear activity... he keeps a clean camp!

Gorgeous, quiet location was perfect after a day of exploring national parks. Campground host was welcoming and kind. Sites were ample, private, and clean. We really loved this location.

Awesome host and great group camp site. Super clean rest rooms. Nice location on the river with little traffic noise.

We had Walt as our host and he was extremely helpful and patient with us. We enjoyed getting to know him and he gave good recommendations for activities and got us up early as the campsite began to flood. The campsite itself was very well maintained and beautiful!

Really enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. About a 30 min drive to east entrance of Yellowstone. We stayed on site #6 and it worked great for the 2 tents we had. We had reserved site #4 but a Bison had decided to stay there so we moved done a few sites. Park host was very helpful. Fortunately, site #6 was available (and actually much nicer).

What a beautiful campsite. There is no cell service. Our site was right by the water and it was beautiful. Be careful and vigilant because you will run into wildlife.

The campground location and camp post were good. My complaint is that we reserve the group site for $60 a night, the confirmation email stated that sites 9, 10 and 11 were part of our group camp. People camped in two of the campsites two nights of our three night stay. They may or may not have paid. When we question this we were told 9, 10 and 11 we’re not part of our reservation. Again the confirmation email states very clearly that they are. I feel we should get reimbursed for the two camps that were occupied for two nights each during our stay.

Camp host was wonderful. Good campground but this is not in Yellowstone if that is where you are hoping to be.

Campsite was great. It's place by the river gives a nice backdrop to our camping experience. The campground host was very helpful and gave us great tips and information on the area. Very pleased with the experience.

Beautiful campsite nestled in between beautiful rock formations that are a pleasure to wake up to. Bear lockers provided did an excellent job. Very helpful campsite host as well. Will definitely be considering for future excursions in Wyoming!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
