We went in August and it was understandably hot but there was very little shade for relief. The water was supposedly potable but it had a bad taste like metal. Eco toilets were clean, no showers (for some reason I thought there would be).The people working there were friendly and helpful but some of the other guests were just there to party and no one seemed to intervene. Group next to us even had speakers, loud music and a projector. Partied late (midnight). Not really getting away to nature.

Simple terms Site 23 /24 very uneven ground for setup Not close to water as you have to walk down a hill to get to

Very nice campground but site 19 is a nice site if you have no kids. Site is on a slope dont recommend for kids or anyone with bad knees. Camp host Kenny was very nice we had reserved site 17,18 and 19 which are not the best sites but he manage to move us to site 33, 32 and 28 which were better because we were close to day use area. Mid July is very hot and windy. We didnt use any sweater nor blankets it was super hot. Plan accordingly

Not a campground you are think of! Sandy flat campground is one of the worst campground we have ever seen!!! The grounds looked well kept and clean. That is it for the pros!!!Now the Cons:We made reservations in July for a shady, level site. When we arrived our site was shady (but not where you had to set up your tent) and not anything close to level!!!. The management comment wasthe campground is next to riverSite was basically unusable. No where level . The pitch of the site we did not even get to.Utilities (water, electric) was so far away I would need a 20 run. Plus it was all up hill. The staff was pretty useless as well and told us the site is fine.They also advertise carrier servicesdont believe it.So we made arrangements at another resort and left as it was unusable.We were told we were going to be charged two night stay and a cancellation fee. What ????? For a site we could not use???? Nor could anyone else. It was not what we were lead to believe we had reserved.We talked to Recreation.gov and shared our concern, and they said to wait for campground responses, but they did not even reply to your email!!!I would not stay here again.

I camp spot 21. Located. Great. Shade and. Walking distance to bathroom and source of water and river. But if you want the best spot. Next to river then spot 22 is the one to try to get.

My family just visited.Pros- great location to river and lake, friendly host, family friendlycons- broken table and severe issue with noise of other guests (loud music way beyond curfew)We were in stall 9 and it really was not a great set up compared to other stalls in site.I would likely try other campsites in area before returning to this one.

I really like this campground. Very close to the river and only occasional road noise. The bathrooms were pretty ripe during this trip though, not sure why it was worse than normal.

Clean and helpful. Restrooms always had toilet paper. River wasnt too strong. Recommend water shoes and a life jacket.

We were able to setup our tents behind the large boulder a little off the path. That gave it a whole beautiful experience since we couldn't see the cars and other campsites around. Very helpful camp host. We arrived in the middle of rain, so the firewood was damp and the weather was not on our side, but being next to a flowing river makes this campsite very unique.

The host was amazing. Didn't see our reservation at first but he was very cool and told us not to worry. Found the reservation and didn't bother us between.

Celebrated my birthday weekend here during St Patty's day weekend 2024 and had a wonderful time. Campsite 22 was a large flat area for all of our tents and gear and it was right next to the river. The camp host was super sweet and knowledgeable with the surrounding areas. Will definitely be back in the summer once the weather warms up.

We book our camp site online not expecting much in regrades to a great experience. But when we arrived late at night the bathrooms were in good shape with plenty of toilet paper on the roles. The camp site care taker is very helpful and responsive. Anything you need to know he will do his best to assist. I will gladly return to this site for camping again.

It was an overall good experience! The camp host was really nice as well. The water smelled really weird though. I didnt trust it.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
