This use to be our favorite place. Sadly it has become too popular. This was the first year Ive experienced people dragging all their chairs, hammocks, paddle boards etc. and scattering them across the entire beach area as if to claim it as theirs. Our neighbors showed up at dinner time and quickly claimed the closest beach from our camp site. My daughter and I always walk to the water to watch the sunset. It was so sad to get there and have the place look like a homeless camp. The next day I watched and they didnt even occupy the beach they claimed till 2pm. The next beach to that was also claimed by a huge screen room That look up the whole site. I never saw anyone visit that canopy. When you go camping, dont claim a common area as yours. Its there for everyone to enjoy.

Amazing stay, per usual! Will be back soon! Thank you to the camp hosts for making it such a lovely stay!

I wish there was more consistency with the camp hosts throughout the area and from year to year. There were dogs, Great Danes, continually walking into my campsite. I spoke with the host and the dogs owners and nothing was done about it. Curfews were not enforced and it was extremely loud at night. The vault toilets smelled worse than any Ive ever encountered! It was a very disappointing visit.

too big of mobile homes in there with large, loud generators. ruined the day and most of the night. left one night early.

Other than getting rained on our last few days it was a great experience! It was my first time at Redfish, but my wife's family has been coming here for years and we had a lot of fun.

People dont always follow rule which is sad. Dogs on beach, not the dog beach. People came and moved our chairs on the beach while we were out paddle boarding, really people.

Beautiful location and the best of the Redfish campgrounds. Only wish they had flushing toilets like the other campgrounds at redfish.

Fantastic setting. Close to water with nice beach. Campsite itself was left with micro-trash and excessive firewood debris all around the fire ring. Had to sweep and clean before we could enjoy the campsite ourselves.

Go hiking, go bike riding, paddle boarding , kayaking, enjoy a sunset, the quiet. Leave your noisy jet ski home.

Great location on what has to be one of the most picturesque lakes you'll find anywhere. Although the host was probably the most inhospitable we'd run into in our decades of visiting public campgrounds. Host aside this place is paradise. We'll be back!

We were able to make a last-minute reservation and went up late on a Friday night. When we arrived, the camp was clean and ready to go. The camp host was very kind, got us the information that we needed as well as wood for our fire. We loved being able to just walk down to the lake and watch the sunset and sunrise. My only complaint is how close the site is to the road. We heard cars on and off all night and in the morning.

Outlet is our favorite spot at Redfish! It’s beyond beautiful and relaxing. Unfortunately the camp host is getting older and grumpier. He’s been there for years, but I think people have gotten to him. It’s too bad because he used to be nice.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
