Loved it. Very nice, clean and quiet.

Very good camp hosts and facilities - clean restrooms. Only downgrade for the site is the electrical power which was overloaded in the heat of the evening when many had their air conditioners on. Electrical infrastructure needs to be made more robust.

Great campsite, very quiet and rural. A bit outdated but the scenery makes up for it. We picked 29E Pion and that spot had full hookup which was amazing.

Electric site, requires ext cord to reach but I knew that and was prepared. About 1 -- 2 bars on Verizon, good enough. Clean restrooms. Lots of birds and some deer, very nice.Need to resurrect the dump station.

We really liked this campground. The spaces feel private because they are spaced apart from each other, and the trees help offer a nice environment too.

Our group enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and exploring the area. The campground restrooms had flush toilets cleaned multiple times per day. Verizon cell phone coverage was good.

Clean bathrooms. Friendly camp hosts.

We stayed in Juniper Loop site 28E. The site includes a covered picnic table and 30 amp electricity. Short walk to flush toilets. Close to water spigot. Nice spot with sufficient privacy. Camp hosts were very amenable.

The host would not allow me to fill with water. Had to drive 40 mins back to Cortez to fill.

We were not aware the campground was not at lake level - in fact you couldnt even see the lake from the campground. We had brought a kayak with us thinking we could launch from the shore in the campground. Instead it was a mile and a half drive to the boat launch. It ended up being too windy to kayak but we wouldnt have camped there if we had known it wasnt a lake level.

Everything was great except for the drinkable water connections which were not threaded for use with a garden hose. Also, the dump station was not operational.The campground host was very nice and knowledgeable regarding the area.

The campground was clean and quiet. We were on the upper Juniper loop. Our site didn't have any shade in the afternoon and it was warm for the end of August. We had no hook-ups but it wasn't bad. There was shade by the picnic table and we used that late afternoons. There's a nice 1/2 mile hike to a look out point. The camp host was very friendly and helpful when we needed ice for a bee sting my wife got. Mesa Verde is close by so we made a trip there. We were there mainly to do some mountain biking. The campground is close to some good trails.I would go back again and get the same site or another with more shade. Nice quiet campground.

Nan, Rolf and Jenny are great hosts. On line booking over charged me $36 for my 2 night reservation. There was no place to enter my golden age passport #. Booking also charged taxes which Ive never known to have happened before. No taxes at Muller. The area is lovely. I grew up in Cortez and enjoyed not only my campsite but also McPhee.

Great camp host. Clean camp site. Clean restrooms. Was a pleasure to stay.
@MatthewC862969 · Camped on Jul 10, 2023 at Campsite #1E
Nice campground, secluded sites. The bathrooms were locked at night, though; not sure why? The camp host was very helpful, some of the sites are a little small for larger units.
@RyanJ5089765 · Camped on Jul 9, 2023 at Campsite #4E
The camping was excellent I have no regrets. However the website says water is available along with electricity. I did not read close enough to see not at every spot. That was my fault. The views were amazing and I would stay again.
@RockyL4874923 · Camped on Jul 1, 2023 at Campsite #10E
From the website we had expected there to be water hookup for trailer. There was water but only to get water with containers. Was not clear in info. Also the site reserved was not an appropriate size for our trailer. We ended up leaving and purchasing rv sites in the nearby town.
@KennethP699928 · Camped on Jul 1, 2023 at Campsite #22
Wonderful campsite. There's a well for unfiltered water, flushing toilets and best of all, plenty of shade!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
