Beautiful area with pines and tall trees. The campsites are spaced out nicely, clean, spacious and level. The host was friendly and informative. I will stay there again.

Beautiful park. Meticulously maintained. Great location. 5 stars for everything EXCEPT 10 stars for the camp host. He was so friendly, welcoming, happy, informative and an all around great human being.

Target Tree Campground is lovely campground in a beautiful forested setting. The campground is close to Mancos for groceries and other amenities, and a 15 minute drive to Mesa Verde for a day trip. The camp host, Blaine Gott, is excellent. He stopped and chatted with everyone to make sure you were OK. We extended our stay and he was very accommodating in finding us a new site. We will go back!

Beautiful, quiet and clean campground with large sites. Camp host is fantastic! We go to Target Tree every year, and would certainly go more often if we had the time.

A very well designed campground that can appeal to all levels of camping (e.g. RV's to one-person camping). I personally liked the well-appointed drinking water outlets, clean bathrooms (x2 per loop), the loveliest of campground hosts ('B____e'). I would come back here in a heartbeat! It's a beautiful spot! Clean! Bring bocce balls!

Really lovely little campground! Very clean and well kept. There is noise from trains and the highway. If youre tent camping watch out for the sprinklers! I thoroughly enjoyed the hot and clean shower!

Really nice campground. Decently spaced sites, well built gravel pad for our tent and the fire area, with nice mature trees. We could hear the highway noise, unfortunately, but by bedtime it wasn't too bad. The host there was really nice and welcoming. Bathrooms were acceptable. Great water pressure at the spigots. Out fire place had been cleaned out before arrival which was nice.

Love the area & so close to Durango/Mesa Verde/Four Corners! This campground is in a beautiful wooded area. Road in was a bit rough & climbed in elevation-just FYI in adverse weather conditions. Site was level & we had a huge area to park my teardrop/TV & still pitch a tent for my friend. Some sites looked a bit tricky to get into and sloped. Our site was well groomed w/ firepit/picnic table. The only detractions were the bathrooms & trash bins that were quite smelly and a ways from sites-I believe 2 for the whole campground. Road noise could be heard but only 6a-7pm. Do yourself a favor & drive into Durango for a cold beer-friendly people and laid back town.

some comments, we love the place this was our second stay. Blaine the host is great.

This is a great campground. Nicely wooded, the sites are around a .7 mile loop and are designed in such a way that other campsites are rarely in view of each other. The Campground host takes great care of the area, maintaining clean restrooms and grounds. Anything needed during your stay can be found a short distance away in Mancos. Dump stations are located Mesa Verde and Cortez.

Nice quiet and clean campground with easily accessible sites. Very clean toilets!! Like the light outside to make it easier to find at night.

Overall a nice campground but the one issue was noise from the nearby highway. Other sites at tge campground ] may be quieter but I found that the noise make it hard to sleep. Campground was clean and camp host was very friendly. Nice hiking trails in the campground.

We really enjoyed Target Tree Campground. The sites are large and feel private. The camp host was very nice and helpful. We definitely be back. The only downside was the vault toilets needed pumped out badly.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
