The campground was extremely clean. The bathrooms were cleaned throughout the day, that's important to me, so clean. It was a peaceful time.

Very convenient location in the Big Bear Lake area. Very friendly and helpful caretakers. Great sites well well-spaced and easy to find. Clean and well-maintained park, toilets, showers, water. Easy access to main roads and close to shopping and trails.

Ten stars for the person who helped me reserve the campsite over the phone. The gate attendants were kind and helpful too. The campsite was clean and had plenty of shade. The fire pit was the perfect size for roasting marshmallows for the smores. I definitely recommend this campground.

Always love this campground. Feels like you are away in the woods when at your site. But close to all the amenities and luxuries the town has to offer.

We stayed last week for the first time and were absolutely amazed at how clean and comfortable Serrano was. Our site was perfectly placed for our families needs near water, bathrooms and trash. We will definitely be back for years to come.

Staff was so wonderful and the campsites were set up great. You could walk down to the lake from the campsite, and we saw lots of blue jays and bunnies around. Only downside was the SHOWERS. You have to push in a button continuously to make the water go, it's high up, and really hard to push. As a 5'0 ft person that lifts weights I was extending my arm almost fully above me and had to lean all of my weight into it, which makes it hard to actually move so water can get anywhere besides the top of my head. Children and more noodly individuals will definitely need someone else in there to help press the button. If your group consists of weight lifters or just tall people it's worth it.

Very good family and beginner campground. The sites were clean and there were water spigots easily available all around. The bathrooms and showers were clean enough and there was never a wait. The staff were very friendly and you felt safe knowing they drive around to make sure everything is ok. Firewood is $8 a bundle and you can buy it at the check in kiosk. Since it is a family campground, expect to hear kids having good time. That didnt bug me at all as the noise died down after around 10pm.The only thing that actually bugged me is the site we were at (78) was way too close to the highway! We didnt realize the highway would be so busy. It was hard to fall asleep as cars and trucks passed by constantly from sunset till around midnight. It kind of ruined the quiet night time experience we were hoping for. In the dead of night you will probably hear the coyotes in the distance screaming and howling. That was actually kind of exciting!I think we would come back here and stay in the middle of the campground as far away from the highway.

Good showers. Fresh, cold drinking water. Beautiful pine trees. Kids riding bikes everywhere - laughing, talking, shouting with excitement! Great walking/jogging/riding path 3 miles long right into town. My favorite place to camp in SoCal.

The Lake had lots of water, so the kayaking was Great. The Bike Trails around the Campground & to Town are very pleasant to ride, jog or walk on.And the Dark Sky at night allows you to see So Many Stars. The Campground its self is always in Amazing shape thanks to the stellar group of CampHosts & Crew

We liked this third visit to Serrano Campground as before. However we were located a bit further from the restrooms than the last times and since our neighbors were a bit closer, this time it was a little less tranquil. When we mentioned to the camp host that our neighbors had not respected the 10:00 p.m. quite time, the camp host said he would talk to them. We noticed they were gone that same morning and we stayed-on another night and the new neighbors were super quiet. After having a look at other campsites, we'll definitely come back.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
