We have been camping at San gorgonio for years and every year we have a great time. The host are always happy and welcome us with a great attitude.

Had a great time, site was big and shady and clean. Could have used a third bear box for a double site. Camp host was very friendly.

Great campground. Large campsite, lots of space between campsites, and plenty of tree shade if you want that. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I did visit the other campground close by and this one was the overall best. I will be back to this campground. Really enjoyed the surroundings it had to offer. Thank you.

Group Site # 048 was perfect. Plenty of shades and room for tents. Neighboring campsite was at a good distance. Great reception for phone use. We went in mid-July, it was really hot but the trees shade the Group Site really well where it was nice and cool throughout the day. Also, giant plus was that the bathroom and shower was super clean for a campground. It didnt smell and we didnt feel grossed out. Campground host was a sweetheart. They were so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I would camp at San Gorgonio again in the future.

Nice sites, great showers/restrooms, nice hosts, lots of double sites, and great access to trails. Close to 38 so you can hear and possibly see traffic. Quiet at night. Will defiantly return. Thank you for a great experience.

Layout of this site is odd. Site is slightly slanted on a hill and the bonfire pit is placed in an odd spot. Other sites around looked fine except this one

The campsite we reserved was too rocky and there's not enough shade. There's no dedicated parking space only an unlevelled private road. Located near main campground road so lots of noise from passing vehicles.

Great campground.

Great campsite, beautiful forest, easy access to a nice trail. Only downside: It was a shame that the water supply was out, and that notification didn't go out about it until shortly before the reservation, but they had Port-A-Pots onsite and it was fine.
@BryanH7627410 · Camped on Jun 18, 2024 at Campsite #29
All water was out when we arrived and it stayed the way the entire time (2 day booking). Eventually stinky portapotty for bathrooms were brought in which quickly became full; but no way to get drinking water unless by car to another park. No way to take a shower. Requested a refund and never have had a response.
@BaileyM19298B2 · Camped on Jun 17, 2024 at Campsite #14
First morning we woke up to no running water, never came back on for our whole stay so we never got to shower. Management gave conflicting information, saying that it was back on but they were just letting it build up, and then eventually just putting out porta potties. Eventually they just put a sign on their trailer saying that they were not on property. We were given an email notification on the second day of no water to "make sure to bring enough water with you", but some other guests that I talked with that arrived later said they got no warning and no opportunity to cancel. Every morning until about 2pm our site would be overtaken by flies, and we were close enough to the road to hear/see cars.

I've been going to San Gorgonio campground for a few years now. I enjoy the pine trees, trails, and site setup. Plenty of shade for most sites and showers available. Lake Jenks is close by and can easily be accessed by using one of the trails.

Patricia and Scott do a great job as camp hosts. Our group of six had a great time enjoying smores and watching the stars at night. Would leave five stars but there was a car that started blasting country music at around midnight our first night which was not appreciated since we had young kids that had already been having trouble falling asleep.

Was fortunate to snag a spot due to a cancellation. Couldnt be happier. Camp hosts did a great job enforcing noise controls after hours. Had no issues with loud music from surrounding camps. The spot was spacious, picnic table shaded under a tree and nice spread. We were able to back up a Ford Ranger in the driveway and setup a privacy canvas and a picnic table and still have plenty of room. Bathrooms were clean, showers worked but cold water. The camp host warned us of a recent bear siting w 2 baby cubs so we were extra diligent to use the bear lockers and toss our trash each night. We didn't have any encounters thankfully. There are trails around and a lake to explore. My husband did some mountain bike riding. Highly recommend and will be back.

Clean sites, restrooms and showers. Always start our camping season here. And camp 2-3 a year at this campground.

Beautiful campground with clean facilities. Photos on rec.gov app don't do the sites justice. Maybe it's a future thing the developers can fix.

Best place to camp for a simple weekend !!
@BrentW1009266 · Camped on May 10, 2024 at Campsite #38
Great community, facilities were well kept. Our group of 7 really enjoyed our weekend there. Just wish the sites were a little more spaced apart. Note that the first car is included in the reservation, each additional car is $8 per car per night. And I think firewood was $8 a bundle. Would stay here again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
