Absolutely love this park and the campground is one of the best!However, the registration system doesnt work well and discriminates against people who are traveling through and those who arent tech savvy.

Where there wasnt any one or envelopes to do self-checkin, we were not sure how that was going to work. BUT the internet was perfectly strong enough to do online reservation. Campground wonderful. Visitor Center staff were very very helpful and friendlyespecially Brenda. One of the best evenings on our two-week trip. Awesome!

Mid-May, the campground was empty due to the heat. Nonetheless, I found it wonderful. The trails show great biodiversity, and the interpretive nature walk is well done. My camp site had everything I was looking for. Great stay.

Came in off-season (May), so very few in the campground. Bathroom and shower facility is good and pads are large and flat. Easy access to trails. Quail and other wildlife frequent the campground.

Rangers and volunteers are fantastic. A beautiful, wild piece of the Sonoran Desert is here for your enjoyment!

Very quiet and few campers in off-season. Lovely spot and nice, clean facilities. Excellent hike to the Arch and loop drive in the Sonoran Desert. Highly recommended!

Great tenting campsites. Although there were a few sites with shade canopies, I wasnt aware of them when I made my reservation

Appreciated the non generator sites and easy pull through. Trails were very well marked and maintained.

I love Twin Peaks - Organ Pipe NM has got under my skin somehow (I'm a Brit). I was visiting slightly out of season this time, so it was very quiet in terms of campers, but (at that point) all the facilities were still open. The solar showers are beautiful provided you don't go too late (I paid attention to previous reviews!). Around about noon gave a lovely refreshing shower.I did the Victoria Mine walk this time. Saw some great birds eg. Townsend's Warbler. I slightly under-planned how much water to take. I stop to take photos all the time so any walk takes me ages. Good learning there - I should have taken at least 3 litres. That was for 7am-11:30 walk.And visiting 3 weeks later than in 2023, more cactus were blooming - fishhook - so delicate, and teddy bear cholla - utterly delightful!I can't help thinking I'll be back again...

We realized the sites would be close to the road but they really cram you in. We had two pickup truck campers parked next to usone literally in our back window. Generator hours should also be like most other parks. Not 6 am to 10 pm but in 2-3 hour increments twice a day. The one next to us was so loud and they turned it off at 9:56 pm.

This was one of the best maintained parks I have ever been to.The campsite, showers, and bathrooms were well maintained.The rangers were pleasant, very knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge,Roads and trails were also well maintained

Clean, pristine, and felt very safe! Perhaps the nicest campground I've ever visited! Every tent site was freshly raked, including the tent "pad". Bathrooms equally clean. Grounds are quiet and dark, which I really appreciated since I do night sky photography. Amazing variety of cacti and scrub, including beautiful namesake Organ Pipe Cactus, Saguaro, Ocotillo, Cholla, and more! Even had cell service w tmobile. 10/10!

Despite looking like a parking lot from overhead, Twin Peaks campground is actually quite pleasant on the ground. Sites are separated by a decent amount of shrubbery and cacti, and just a few short steps away from the campground are a handful of trails for experiencing the desert landscape in peace. Unique to Twin Peaks (in my experience) is the separation of sites into a "generator" and "non-generator" categories, so campers can decide which they prefer. Water spigots are located throughout the grounds, and the dump station, located just past the far loop of the park, has two full lanes of dump, flush, and potable water fill spigots. We visited in April and the campground was sparsely populated, making for a relaxing stay.

The campsite is great and everything and there were quite a few birds to see right in camp. We enjoyed driving the Ajo Mountain Scenic Drive and we stopped and did the short hike into Arch Canyon which was spectacular. We also enjoyed the Puerto Blanco Scenic drive as well as a couple of hikes off of that loop. Be aware, you will see the border wall up close and personal on the southern portion of the Puerto Blanco Scenic drive, which It may be a bit unsettling for some visitors.

One of the best national park campgrounds we have ever been to. Nothing at all to take marks off for.

This was our second visit the campground. We like the spacing of the parking area and the Desert plants around the spaces. Great campground

Beautiful campground and site. Several hikes were available from the campground.
@JohnM1144946 · Camped on Apr 5, 2024 at Campsite #85
Great camping area, quiet and great views. Our only complaint were the hours to run the generator. We thought 8:00 in the morning was a little late for coffee and 6:00 in the evening was a bit to early to have dinner finished if the generator was needed.
@AbeSA878524C39 · Camped on Apr 4, 2024 at Campsite #176
Campground is well maintained and staff are attentive to the small details. Excellent trails nearby within walking distance of campground.

A really nice, quiet desert campground. Stars are amazing. Sites away from generators are appreciated. Hearing kit foxes at night was a big plus. Only draw back was fires only in raised grills, but without fire you can star gaze better.
@JamesM9879118 · Camped on Apr 2, 2024 at Campsite #60
Sites offer nice privacy. Many sites handle over 30ft rigs. Enjoyed the evening ranger talks. A number of hiking trails accessible directly from the campground.
@BJS3267119 · Camped on Apr 2, 2024 at Campsite #133
This is perhaps the nicest campground I have ever stayed in. The plants, the birds, blue sky, flowering cactus, hiking trails brilliant stars, balmy weather, and the evening ranger talk all added to the beauty of our stay at Twin Peaks campground in early April. The campsites are large and generously spaced apart, giving a lot of privacy. The visitor center was very well done, the bathrooms are quite nice, and the campground was spotlessly clean. Go there!
@LeifL82393B817 · Camped on Apr 1, 2024 at Campsite #53
Excellent campground layout, with spacious sites. Solar showers a plus, although not in every restroom building and water can be lukewarm in cloudy weather. But a welcome amenity that is unusual in national park campgrounds (except when provided at a central concessionaire facility).

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
