Mark is the host, or was when we were there. While we were camping there, it felt like we were a guest on a Chevy Chase Family Reunion movie -- everyone seemed to know everyone and I'm not confident the FCFS sites were even paying.On one of the nights we were there the host had about 8 adult males at their campsite. There was a lot of animal noises which were upsetting minor children and dogs. The noise got louder and the host site was egging the situation on. Come to find out, the host site was responsible as one of the adult males had a wild game call maker with amplifier. They thought it was hilarious; I'm not as confident -- using a device to attract wildlife to a campground doesn't seem like the brightest idea.It's also worth noting some of the nights were were there we were awoken by constructions noises starting a 4am coming from a local private property getting logged.There were dogs off leash roaming campsites from German Shepherds to Golden Retrievers. The campground itself had a lot of trash scattered about and holes in the dirt that our camping chairs kept falling into. It isn't well kept.As others have mentioned, there no privacy. It's an open field. That's it. Whether it's quiet for you or not largely depends on whose camping. It was not quiet for us.Save your money and camp elsewhere.

Beautiful campground. Spaced well. Pit toilet, has potable water. Firewood $5/ bundle but you could also collect your own. Campsite host was friendly and his dog Toby was super cute and friendly. Would def come back.

Campground was great. Creek was amazing. Only downfall was that there was someone in our reserved spot on the first night of our stay. We both double checked and we both had a reservations confirmation.

Camp fires apparently only allowed during this time of season with a camp host on site, which the campground had none. Rain nightly with only propane allowed made for a pretty terrible time.

Very nice stay! Its a pretty open campground, not a ton of privacy but very pretty area. Located close to port orford, check out the redfish rocks marine reserve and cape blanco light house!

It was a great experience, however, there will no dumpsters available at the group sites which was most inconvenient.

One of the worst camping experiences of my life. Vault toilets absolutely reeked, and our site happened to be right next to them. The camp host walked right by & never even bothered to check in with us. A large family group in the next site constantly encroached on our space, even setting up their kids' tents in our site. One family's RV was being evicted. If you like your campgrounds loud & trashy, this one is for you!

We love the family camp area. Nice water access for the kids and it's quiet back there. The swimming hole across the street is very nice as well.

This site was perfect for our group. We had a group site which is tucked back away from the rest of the campground. The site was huge and more than enough room for all of our cars and tents, plus a huge expanse where the kids could run and play- without having to cross campsites or roads to get to each other. The surrounding wilderness is beautiful and tranquil. The creek nearby provided days long fun for kids and adults- catching all kinds of animals including toads, snakes, and newts. The steep hillsides and tree cover made it idyllic. Only heads up for families- no showers or running water in the bathroom; vault rookies only. There is a spickett for drinking water back at the main camp near the check-in/ registration. I highly recommend this campground!

Absolutely beautiful! Camp site D is right next to a cute little creek, just make sure you watch out for the poison oak.

This place was totally trashed when we arrived. Also the group settings are not totally private as described and we had some weird groups near us. Also, when we booked there was no fire ban, but upon arrival there were signs saying no campfires. Understandable but it would have been nice to be informed of the change. Also, this time of year the creek is very low, so do t expect to boat or even swim. The area is beautiful, and we certainly had a lovely time, but it was a 3 star campground.

I've had my sons birthday party down there the last two years and I love it! Such an amazing and beautiful spot. I own property right above edson so I get the sixes river experience everyday but still I enjoy edson park anytime I am there!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
