The camp host was great, the campground was clean, and the bathrooms were clean and well kept. The pad wasn't level nor well marked. I was in a truck camper (at site #22) and I made it work with some leveling but could have been better. The concrete table was in poor condition and the fire ring was full of grass. Finally the fresh water connection was a ways away from the pad. Again, not an issue for me but for someone who wanted to hook up to the water they would need probably 50' of hose instead of a more normal 25'. These were not issues for me overall but that's why 4/5 instead of 5/5.

A small beautiful camp site. This is our new favorite place to stay. Ringold cafe is just up the road and have friendly service and great food.

I was the only one at the campground the night I stayed. It was a quite campground on a lake with clean showers. My site was good but some of the other tent sites needed work. Dark skies with lots of stars.

Good campground, we were the only ones there besides the people who weren’t staying there, and would come and use the showers all hours of the night.

The campsite offers awesome views of the night sky as well as a lake to fish. The restrooms were clean and one set had showers. Some the campsites need minor repairs.

We were camped at the pavilion with family the first week of our stay. We were going to move to our favorite camp spot that Sunday. Before Sunday a storm came and knocked over two trees in our campsite making it impossible for us to move to it on Sunday. No one would be able to remove the trees until Monday, so we were allowed to stay one more night at the pavilion. It was hard for us to move our camper as it is too big for our truck so, we were relying on family to move our camper on Sunday. It would be difficult to get someone to move our camper twice If we were to stay in another campsite. So, by allowing us to stay another day helped us tremendously. We appreciate our camp family, the camp host, Army Corp of Engineers and our maintenance crew who cleared the trees from our favorite camp site. It made our stay a great experience.

Beautiful clean campground. Showers and bathrooms were quite nice as well as clean. The site was spacious with a nice fire ring and picnic table. We enjoyed our stay there very much. We checked out the group area while we were there. We think it will be perfect for out group meet up later this summer. We were there at the perfect time, as the leaves were changing and were just beautiful.

Lost Rapids may have been a very nice place to camp at one time. But, now the campsites are overgrown. Maintenance is lacking here. Never saw the camp host. Most of the tent camp sites have little to no shade.

We always enjoy Lost Rapids. It’s quiet, peaceful, and hardly ever crowded. The bathrooms are always clean. However, during our last visit everything was very very overgrown and unkempt. Would give a five star review if they would keep the sites mowed and maintained better.

The grass needed to be mowed other then that is was a nice quite place.

Perfect stay. If you love the southeastern feel of Oklahoma but hate the crowd of Broken Bow, this is the place.

This is a good location, but be prepared for a few minor issues. Bring plenty of water hose. The west water hookup did not work in March of 2021 (it had frozen and busted). Overall, a good place. If you can set up campers right, you get a good wind block from all directions except the east.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
