Its a nice park. Very nice swim area for the kids and playground. The facility does have showers. However, on the womens side, the shower was full of bugs bugs all over the floor. Also the shower did not drain fast. While showering the water started climbing up over my feet. The showers really need some attention. Clear the drains so youre not standing in dirty nasty water. It smelled when the water started backing up. Which tells me It has been backing up for a while. Not sure how the mens side was.

Love the lake front sites that are large enough to not be on top of your neighbor

Clean and well kept park. A lot of room between most campsites. All of the volunteers that work there that I came in contact with were very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back!!

Always have a great time camping at Kiowa 1. I do feel like the grass needs to be mowed around the outer side of the banks. Walking down to the water can be a bit challenging in the tall grass.Bathrooms need to be attended more and kept cleaner. Trash and spider webs.

The campsites are very spacious and the camp hosts and staff are helpful and friendly. I recommend you bring a weed eater as the sites are not mowed regularly and depending on how much rain the area receives the weeds tend to be thick and tall.

Kiowa Park I is a beautiful park in southwest Oklahoma just far enough off the beaten path. There are numerous camping options. I would definitely return.

The electrical needs to be updated. The fact that we spent each afternoon having to wait in the heat of the day for someone to come reset the main breaker is unacceptable. I would understand better if something happened with one site but the fact that at least 10 camp sites had no power because of an overloaded circuit is unacceptable.

We always have an amazing time. The staff at check-in and checkout are friendly and knowledgeable. The sites are maintained very well.

This park offers exceptionally large campsites and is our go to park. We drive over 130 miles to get there and have made 16 trips over the past two and one half years. They are constantly updating the infrastructure which makes for a better camping experience. Rhonda at the front gate is always friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.

Great little get away. Limited 50 amp hookups but water services have improved

The entrance booth staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. No problem looking up my reservation and helping me find a spot which made sense. A truly enjoyable event and I liked the camp well enough.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
