Group Landing is a lovely area. The lack of shower facility and ports potties were disappointing. Had hoped the work on the septic would have been completed by now. Also there was confusion with the key code which made for extra miles on the road and getting a late start on our set up.

Group Landing is a site we enjoy very much. It is out of the way and very private. Make sure you pack your bug spray as this is surrounded by woods and some swampy ground! Also, bring a large tarp to put on the pavilion to cut the wind if it starts blowing across the lake. The site has power and water though the bathrooms and showers are currently out of operation.

This would have been an excellent review. However, the lack of flushing toilets and hot water showers was a huge negative experience for our group. This was essentially a primitive campsite except that we paid significantly more than a primitive campsite would have cost. I believe the restroom situation has been like this for several months. This is unacceptable in my opinion and we would not return to this site unless the restrooms were fixed. After driving around to check out other camping facilities in this area of Osceola National Forest, most of the restroom facilities are out of order. This appears to be a serious neglect problem and is very unfortunate that those in charge don't care about the upkeep in this beautiful forest.

Thanks! Had a great time as usual. Great place to stay with large groups. One of Troop 475's favorite places!

Sites were great, location was great, i wish there was a dump site closer than the other side of the lake. Also the shower house was out of order and we didn't know that ahead of time.

I had a reservation for 12 days starting 11/13. At around 11:00pm on 11/12 I was sent an email stating my reservation was cancelled for the whole time, which I never saw and the date’s from 11/15 on were listed as available. Needless to say when I found out I was confused because I was already there and checked in. I had my whole family (20 people) arriving for Thanksgiving week. Luckily I was able to Re reserve before anyone else had claimed it. A phone call to let me know that my whole reservation was cancelled because the park was closed for just the first day of my reservation would have been nice. Luckily nobody claimed the time I had planned to stay averting a disaster for our family on Thanksgiving

The Landing is the Perfect Spot. Push your kayak in anytime, bonfire at night, electric at the pavilion, and fish right from the waters edge. Lets not forget his and her facilities…. The kids couldn’t get enough of playing in the water, fishing, and watching the small gator taking over at dusk. A great time was had by all!

This is one of our favorite camping spots in Florida; we've been coming here annually for 5 years now. We love being surrounded by the beautiful trees and Ocean Pond. Lot's of good little hiking and exploring opportunities. The bathrooms were very clean and very hot water.

Awesome place. Has (4) RV sites with 20a/30a/50a electric at each site. Has water at each RV site. No sewer on site, however there is a campground across the lake that you can dump at for a $5 charge. The road leading in has a locked gate to prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering. There was one instance of someone strolling through the campground that was just walking through the woods, other than that nobody came or went. One alligator sighting at dusk about 100y away that remained in sight well into the night (we could see his eyes reflecting from the spotlight). Wash house on site, though it did not have working hot water. Workers came by in the am to check on how everything was going. Would go back to this place for sure.

Camped with our church group for Tabernacles. With large campsites, hot showers, flush toilets, large dining and fire pit area, it was the perfect family friendly site! Be prepared to encounter wildlife including snakes and alligators, this is Florida after all. Overall, we highly recommend!

We love Group Landing!! This visit was a bit of a struggle with the Yellow Flies hatching this time of year (May-June which we did not know)! They were thick!! Great lake for water sports and the little private beach it has is just perfect for mooring you toys at night. Olustee Battlefield is right there and a great attraction to check out. Other than that we had a great time. Great facilities!!!

This is such a great spot for a group of people because it's private and has a lot of space for entertainment. The pavilion is great to have group meals and the fire pit is great to sit around. The bathrooms/showers are clean and great to use! I've stayed here more than once and plan to come back every year!

Unfortunately, it was just a quick overnight stop on our way home. The site, bathrooms, pavilion, were all in great shape.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
