Downstream Campground in Valley county is located 4 hrs 11 min northeast of Billings, MT with an elevation of 2,048 feet. There are a total of 94 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to the end of September. 88 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 90 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 1 site has electric and water hookups. 76 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $15.00 to $250.00.

Beautiful campground with large shaded spaces. Super clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Just there for a quick stopover while driving the hi-line west toward home. Definitely on my list for the future. Glasgow has cool old downtown area, worth the stop.

Great night on the road to out west. Guard at check in was very friendly and informative. Nice, clean park with easy access to site. Stayed until 9 a.m. so we could visit the interpretive museum at the dam on our way out. Well worth it!!!

Two days without electricity. Think I should get a refund or partial refund. Camp hosts were great very friendly even though it was nearing the end of the season. Showers, bathroom clean as usual, camp sites also clean and well maintained.

This stop was an overnight stay but the campground is great, site one was right by the camp host but site was VERY spacious and right across from the restrooms. It was a quiet evening/night. If you love boating the reservoir was nearby. The only issue was the 50amp wasnt working correctly (we were able to use 30amp without problems). We informed the camp host as we were leaving and he stated he would call for a fix.

We rode our E-Bikes on the trails in the park, across the Fort Peck Dam and to the Fort Peck Interpretive Center & Museum. The Museum was very good and free admission. As for the campsite, there were biting flies, so bring outdoor fly traps and/or bug spray. The campsite was very spacious, well kept and clean.

Love this campground! Always have such friendly staff and the grandkids love the miles of bike trails. Also love the ease getting from camp to the wonderful Fort Peck Theater - always a must see! Cant wait to come back!

Last minute reservation, got in for two days, but in two different spots. Both space 56 and 83 were good, clean and level. We checked out the showers, clean, dry floors (outside of the shower itself) amNd the building was air conditioned to keep you comfortable while dressing. Lots of walking/biking paths, fishing docks and a disc golf course. Electric only sites (for us), very nice, would definitely recommend, but make an early reservation so you don't have to move!

We stayed here in a 36 foot class A Motorhome for 7 nights. The park is well maintained with clean restrooms and showers. The campsites are electric only with drinking water spigots spaced around the campground. The drinking water is the best weve had in Montana. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only reason for the four star rating is the lack of water at each campsite. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.

Spacious campground, level, no underbrush, showers, friendly helpful staff, and best of all I got to tent camp in an RV slot and plug in my Tesla. Lotsa places wont let you do that.

One problem experienced was that I booked Downstream in a different state by accident. When we went to register the person at the office was helpful in giving me a number to cancel and rebook and fortunately we were able to get another site that suited us. She said this is not the first time this has happened. We liked the site but not used to the deer flies and biting flies. We enjoyed the dam view and walk around the ponds as well as listening to the birds. We only were there for one night
