We rented the pavilion. There is definitely not enough parking at the pavilion. It was a holiday weekend and there wasnt enough parking anywhere for our attendees. You cant see the water from the pavilion. Restrooms are also nowhere in sight from the pavilion.

Site 73 is NOT for tents. There is no flat grass area to set up a tent. We showed up Friday night of Labor Day weekend for a 3 night camping trip. Packed up and went home Saturday. Told the folks cleaning the bathrooms (thought they were the camp hosts) that we were heading out and they said that is NOT the first time they've been told the ground is too sloped for tents.

The campsite was a mess. Trash all over the place. Read the amenities which stated no bathrooms on this site, although the campground map shows it, as do a couple of the pictures. We called to verify the bathrooms and whoever answered the phone stated that the campground map was correct. Unfortunate for the families who were tent camping.No power supply near any of the tent sites. Even though there is a new meter base and transformer installed on the site, near the tents.The 2 RV power boxes one the edge of the parking lot are impractical at best, with the lower one unusable due to the location. Should consider relocating these to the north end of the loop, nearer to the tent sites.The campsite closest to the firepit was difficult to maneuver a 24-foot camper into do to trees growing close together and tree branches overhanging, try not to scrap the sides or damage vents on top of the roof. The flagpole was not usable between branches growing towards the pole, no halyard, no cleat, and the pole is leaning. Huge disappointment for our family.The firepit benches are in desperate need of replacement.Unfortunately, we will not be booking this site again.

Very pleased with the camp ground

I liked the place overall but there were a few things that weren't awesome. The spot did not have water hookups and we were pretty far away from the bath houses which was frustrating. Overall though it was a good value for the price. The trash cans are very inconvenient to get to.

Best place to stay in Branson

Overall the campsites and areas were clean. The pad space for our camper was adequate. Gathering around the fire pit in the evening was a challenge as our site had a concrete pedestal table within 6 ft of the pit. Our picnic table was also made of concrete. The marina and access to the water was great. Wished there was an additional shower house area in the campground.

The location is excelent. This area is far from the noise and lights of Branson, and isolated on three sided by water. The campsite we rented was basically by itself next to the day use area, which ensured a quiet environment after dark.

Site numbers are painted on pavement & difficult to see. Many vehicles at swim area parking did not have paid day pass or paid campers. No one at booth until 2 pm. There is a self pay station at booth.

Close to rest rooms. Beautiful shade. A little small if you have a big rig.

Dump station was poor with one completely shut down the other had feces all over and walking around the area got feces on your shoes. the whole dump area needs to be redone as the pull through area is very tight to make the circle turn even to dump. Very outdated. Otherwise we enjoy Indian Point area as this is our 2nd year camping here.

I called 9 times the day before our reservation and no one answered the phone. We were going to be a day late and I didn't want to be a no-show.Site 49 had a large but very uneven driveway. The worst part was when the water started coming out brown. The camp host never put a sign up on the bathrooms (also brown water) or informed anyone what was going on. What did we shower in before noticing? We had to clean out our tanks in the camper and get jugs of water. The host both is only manned 2-7pm (we were there mid June) and due to the incline we have to go to the dump station the opposite direction or our tank won't empty. A lot of improvements are needed.

The rv site was beautiful but unfortunately the campground had issues! First we were approached by the rudest camp host with a clipboard, he was very unwelcoming!! With not so much as a hello, hes telling me the car needed to be moved or would be towed. My sister & her husband were staying across the street in a nearby cabin, they came by to greet us on arrival. He proceeds to tell them they needed to pay a day pass fee if they didnt leave! He continued to spout off all the rules, giving direct suggestions on what we needed to do, mind you all this happened in a matter of minutes as we tried to set up the rv in summer heat!! We have never had such a rude greeting in all our travels!! We found out after arriving & paying about the ridiculous NO golf cart rule, that was a deal breaker. Theyre the only property in the entire city of Branson to ban the use of golf carts. The fact its a government run property may be their biggest problem.

Loved our time at Indian Point Campground. Lots of trees. Close to the Marina. Close to Silver Dollar City and other Branson attractions. Nice level sites.
@STEVENM2892720 · Camped on Jun 12, 2024 at Campsite #72
This site (#72) must have been an afterthought. It was relatively easy to access (had to back in, not unusual) but it was put together wrong. The picnic table, fire ring, and general camping area was on the wrong side of the camper. You had to walk around the camper to the other side, near the electric utility plug-in and water hookup, to use any of these amenities. Which we didn't. And, maybe more importantly, we have a 5th wheel camper which means it has steps to get up inside the camper. Where the bottom step rested on the campsite drive we were at the very edge of the drive, with a full 12"+ drop off that then sloped further downhill. And we were parked as far to the other side as we could get. This is a law suit waiting to happen! So, unless you have a low TT with two or less steps, don't mind walking to the other side of your camper to "camp", don't use this site.

Enjoyed this campground! Very close to Silver Dollar City and has views of Table Rock Lake. Visit the floating cafe and rent a boat from the marina!

The park is 5 star +, our site (#72) is a bad site with the table on the wrong side and a dangerous stepping on the camper door side.We visit Indian point again, just never site #72

Great campsite. Level, paved and large made it super easy to back in. Shaded area was very nice and the bathrooms were spotless. Really good location near the water and could see Table Rock from our site.

Site 10 has a slight view of the lake but is fairly unlevel. Park was clean including the restrooms.

Thanks to all our Supporting Members

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
