Osage Bluff Campground, Warsaw, MO

Osage Bluff Campground in Benton county is located 1 hr 38 min north of Springfield, MO with an elevation of 809 feet. There are a total of 61 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 39 and 80 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 41 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $15.00 to $20.00.

We love staying at Osage bluff I have been coming to this camp ground for probably 20 years. The bathrooms and showers however were not as clean this time as they normally are. Given it was a holiday weekend but they normally clean and keep up on the facilities a lot better. Also the handicapped shower facility seems to always be broken.

We stayed at Osage Bluff over 4th of July weekend for the first time. The campground was exceptionally nice, and the host regularly checked all bathrooms throughout the day. Check in and out was easy. We will definitely return in the future to this campground. Phone reception is spotty throughout the campground.

Beautiful campground but poor cell service or no WiFi. Also no swim beach close by. Otherwise my wife and I loved it.

Water added to the site made things easier, rather than carry water. Camp hosts and janitors showers the best I have ever seen, vaulted toilet (outhouse) clean and no horrible smells. I'd classify them as supurbed. They are friendly fairly quick to react when needed. Someone mentioned soap was almost empty. They both wet down and added soap and double checked everything. Fire pit was cleaned tables cleaned fairly quick as people was leaving out.

I remember this site (25) as being one of the most picturesque spots in the campground. They have since removed many trees (shade) and the campfire ring was away from things and in the weeds. Good view of the lake but not as much shade and the fire ring was removed from the picnic table.

I paid for reservation in advance and used our lifetime card and they made us pay another $25 for 2nd night and didn't accept it.

Osage Bluff is one of our regular camping spots. The campsites that have been upgraded with 50 amp service and water hookups are a real improvement. Hopefully there will be more of these upgrades in the future. As always the campground and shower house were clean and in good repair. It's just a nice quiet place to spend some time. Surprisingly we had pretty good cell service this time (T-mobile). It's always been pretty hit and miss in the past.

Only problem was construction was taking place on the space I reserved and you could not use it. Had to change to a different spot and not many were available for 3 consecutive days but in the end, many of the reserved places had not been taken by Saturday afternoon. I do not understand why25-40% of the campsites can not be left for first come first serve and not let others tie up a site and not use it.

We love camping at Osage bluff! We go multiple times a year! We will be super sad when Donna retires from the front desk! Bathrooms/ showers were not as clean as they have been in the past but I understand this can be hard to keep up on!

Great location, clean campground, campsites were well placed: some near to each other and others with more room - the variety gave a nice choice. The shower building needs a little face lift here and there but was adequate for the intended purpose.
