We had Site #38....it was the best location....a pull through site next to the pond. The lake was so low that the lake front sites were very far from water. There is nothing to do in Grenada, MS. We are not fishing people and don't have a boat. We are not much on walking trails at our age, but I noticed several day use places in the park to visit. No ice or firewood in the park....you have to go into Grenada to shop.Camp hosts are friendly and very helpful.The bathrooms really need updating. Metal toilets!

The North Abutment in Grenada, MS is our favorite campground. Full hookups everywhere, well maintained, and directlyon Grenada Lake. We havent found a bad spot yet, but there are some really great spots, especially around the pond and the backside of the campground. We love it here!

Great campground!Always enjoy the stay.Dont understand why some people can have golf carts that are not disabled and others are told you have to have a disability to ride on through the park.I think the electric bicycles should be banned from the campground because they ride them too fast and the wrong directions.Totally ridiculous. Golf carts are much safer.Need more lighting at night.

This is one of the best COE campgrounds that we have stayed at. Nice big level sites with lots of shade. Full hookups. Really nice area although the lake was low which is normal for this time of the year.

North Abutment is a beautiful campground efficiently operated by terrific camp hosts. Once again we had a great experience, from a well-run on-line reservation system to a trouble-free, relaxing time. (Even though the gravel roads are in need of repair, they did not seriously impact us.)

Very nice spot that was easy in and out, but we did stay midweek and so the park was not filled with people and vehicles. We travel in a 35' Newmar Ventana.

This park is a gem. Beautiful environment with very spacious sites, all concrete pads and black top drives. Price is great $24 or $12 with senior interagency lifetime pass. Full hook ups. Lake/damn is beautiful. Looks like a mini ocean. Very relaxing.

If you want privacy 88 is great. There's some afternoon shade, a good site for a dish reception

Stayed two nights in site #26. Plenty of space between sites. All sites are concrete and level. Full hook-ups. Restrooms are kept clean and maintained. Site is on the water, but water level was low at the time of our visit. COE drops the water levels this time of year in preparation for the upcoming spring rains. Campground was about 50% occupied at the time of our visit. Great campground, will be back soon.

The campsites were clean and well maintained. The campground host was very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of bathhouses throughout the campground. The One near our campsite was very clean. Also, I liked knowing that the bathhouses doubled as a storm shelter if you get caught in a major storm. We enjoyed walking on the beach down the hill from Campsite #30. North Abutment is a very peaceful place.

This place is beautiful! We were a group of 7 campers, some family some friends. Some of the group had others to join us for the day to cook and eat. Easy to get to and a fun place. We were all located in one area (52,51,53,49,48,47,46) 47 is the BEST of the ones we had but 39 is the best of our loop. Although the lake was down a lot it was still by far the prettiest lake we have camped on. We watched deer play all day behind our camper in the area where the lake usually would be.(Take binoculars) The bath house was not at all in any shape to use in our area. We will be back to enjoy this beautiful place again. Even the enjoyable ride around the area gave us a feeling of the mountains. loved it

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
