Brooklyn Lake Campground, Centennial, WY

Brooklyn Lake Campground is located in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest (1 hr 33 min west of Cheyenne, WY) with an elevation of 10,657 feet. There are a total of 9 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid July to the end of September. 7 sites can accommodate RVs between 30 and 55 feet. All sites are currently reservable. There is a fee of $10.00 per night.

We have been camping at Brooklyn Lake since the late 1970's and love it. Our campground hosts (Dennis and Merilee) were the best hosts we have ever experienced in 40+ years of camping in Wyoming. Unbelievable service and the vault toilets were the cleanest we have ever seen. Fantastic job! We also saw moose, deer and bald eagles almost every morning. The only negative was the development of cabins on the west and north side of the lake?! We restricted our fishing to the east and south sides of the lake since the privately-owned cabins had docks onto the lake. Seems odd that a National Forest doesn't have full access to a lake? But otherwise, we had a great time and will stay again next year.
