Campgrounds Available Tonight Near Brookline, MA

Brookline, Massachusetts, is located just outside of Boston and offers access to urban parks and nearby nature areas for outdoor recreation. Larz Anderson Park, located within the city, offers walking trails, picnicking areas, and scenic views of the surrounding neighborhood. Though it does not offer camping, it is a great spot for a relaxing day outdoors. For camping, Middlesex Fells Reservation, located to the north, provides access to hiking trails, lakes for fishing, and a few primitive campsites. Harold Parker State Forest, located to the north, offers both rustic and developed campsites, with opportunities for hiking, fishing, and cross-country skiing in the winter. Cape Cod National Seashore, located further south, offers beachside camping with stunning views of the ocean. Brookline’s location provides easy access to both urban and natural outdoor spaces.
Barnes Field Campground is located in the Androscoggin Ranger District, White Mountain National Forest (1 hr 38 min west of Lewiston, ME) with an elevation of 1,286 feet. There are a total of 11 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 7 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $45.00 per night. Activities include hiking trails.
