Indian Creek Campground, Ferron, UT

Indian Creek Campground is located in the Ferron Ranger District of the Manti-La Sal National Forest (1 hr 57 min southeast of Spanish Fork, UT) with an elevation of 8,786 feet. There are a total of 7 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to the beginning of November. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Fees range from $30.00 to $50.00.

Beautiful area! Excellent groups sites with plenty of room for tents and trailers, we had a great time here. Near the end of our stay the water spigots started spraying air, but after letting it rest a few minutes we'd get water again. This was in late June, I suspect there may not be water later in the season, but even if there's not water I'd still come here and bring my own water, because my family searches for large group sites every summer and this is one of my favorite so far.Note that Google Maps tried to send us down an ATV trail to get here from the west side of the mountains. You should see signs for Indian Springs, so if a turn looks questionable stay on Miller Flat Rd until you see the sign.

We loved the campsite! Accommodations were amazing for our group size. Water was still off ant the campground and the most of the ATV trails were closed. This is the main reason for giving a 3 rating.

Absolutely love this place. Campground is well maintained and as close as you can get to off grid camping without actually doing so. Stunning scenery all around. So much to do- ATV trails, climbing nearby, fishing, water activities, etc.

Great facilities, but the locks on the restrooms have a glitch in them. A couple of times we got locked out and had to pick the lock.

We have been in this campground for over 40 years now, this year was the vary worst experience we have had using the Indian Creek campground. there was not water at the water spickets this year, the system was down for repair had been down all year. No running water is a real problem. With the closes water being 9 miles away down at Joes Valley and 9 miles back. All the fire pits were full of ashes left over from the prior campers. We could not have a fire until the pits were cleaned out and not where to put the old ashes. I would expect that we would receive a partial refund of our money spent on the reservations this year. You have had my money sense October of 2021.

The campsites were great and we had a good time. We would have given an excellent rating, except we were without tap water, which we knew about ahead of time. This is a great campground!

Indian Creek campground is one of our favorites sites. It’s perfect for our family because we have lots of little ones who like to explore. I don’t have to worry much because there is a fence at the back of the campground. We were somewhat surprised at how many vehicles and trailers there were in the other sites surrounding us. It seems to me that there is a limit of how many vehicles can be in a site. We could hardly drive to our spot because of the number of people, cars and trailers. The fact that there is only a couple of vault toilets in comparison to the amount of people was troublesome. Our time at Joes Valley Reservoir in Potters Pond was very fun.
