Lakeside Group Campsite Campground is located in the Seeley Lake Ranger District of the Lolo National Forest (1 hr 13 min northeast of Missoula, MT) with an elevation of 4,172 feet. The site is normally open from the end of May to the beginning of September. There is a fee of $50.00 per night.

This is an absolute gem of a spot - well managed by the campground host and each site is really perfect

I was not able to use my reservation because I had a message that the forest director had ordered an evacuation of the campground. So I paid for other accommodations north of the campground. However I was curious so I drove past the campground after my reservation would have been complete only to find campers set up in the campground. ????

The sites here are so large and spaced apart nicely. It is so lovely!

I love this campground. It's such a fun area to get away to with no distractions from the outside world (no cell service). A fun place to play on the water and relax. It's my new favorite spot!

I got a call the day before my reservation where they told me they were cancelling my reservation due to both a system error and them changing sites to first come, first served. Due to the popularity of the location I had to spend over $350 on a last minute hotel after looking for open sites for two hours as all campsites were full. It has also been a week and I have not been refunded for this experience.
