Rexford Bench Campground, Eureka, MT

Rexford Bench Campground is located in the Rexford Ranger District of the Kootenai National Forest (3 hrs 27 min northeast of Coeur d'Alene, ID) with an elevation of 2,558 feet. There are a total of 54 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of April to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 60 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Fees range from $24.00 to $48.00.

The hosts (Jay and Thea) were amazing. Loved how helpful, friendly and informative they were! We caused a bit of a ruckus coming in late after a breakdown but they didnt give us a hard time about it. Super accommodating and welcoming. Looking forward to going back and seeing them again soon.

We love camping at Rexford Bench. The bathrooms were VERY clean! The campground was well kept and quiet. Our only complaint is that the yellow jackets were plentiful and vicious. Not sure if anything can be done. Were adding yellow jacket traps to our equipment.

We love this campground but notice that things have changed quite a bit since the last time we stayed. The hosts were rather cranky and not helpful at all. We had some trailer issues and asked for contact numbers for repair companies with a response of thats a bummer with no information provided. The washrooms were closed due to a water issue and when asked when they would be open the host barked no one knows and instructed me to use the outhouse in kamloops terrace. There was no soap in the womens washroom for the duration of our stay. The washroom was unclean and the same dead bugs we saw on check in day were still there 5 days later when we checked out.

We love Redford Bench. The campsites are beautiful and spacious. The camp hosts are accommodating and professional. The lake is amazing.

We were disappointed on our arrival to find a party in our reserved site. This made it uncomfortable for all concerned because they had to leave and we had to wait. The camp host informed us that the forest service had not been doing their due diligence in posting the reserved sites. This delayed us from getting into our site.

Really enjoyed our first stay at Rexford Bench. It was quiet and the hosts were friendly. The bathrooms were maintained and clean. Wish there was power available so we wouldn’t have to run the generator. Also would be nice to have senior discounts.

Loved this campground. Friendly people, awesome camp hosts, extremely clean and very beautiful. Only downside is that the beach is not Sandy. Will definitely be back next year.

We loved this campsite! The lake is a short walk away, the trailhead to get there is right next to this campsite. Bathrooms remained very clean for the duration of our stay. Flushing toilets with a sink and lights was a first for us at a campsite! The parking was definitely more than enough for our SUV and 22ft camping trailer. Lots of trees and shade too. We had 2 hammocks up but there was definitely room for more.
