Holmes Bend Campground, Columbia, KY

Holmes Bend Campground in Adair county is located 1 hr 11 min southeast of Elizabethtown, KY with an elevation of 856 feet. There are a total of 125 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 37 and 99 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 62 sites have electric and water hookups. 40 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.

It was very nice, the only complaint is that we was right in front of the bathrooms and there was two bright lights that shined all night.

This is a beautiful COE park. Large, lots of spots. It has RV sites which can view the lake, but the lake is down an 800 foot cliff. What we did not enjoy is that they had shut down most of the RV park (we came in October), so everyone was crammed into a small area. We planned our trip for a time when it would be less crowded. Most of the good sites were with the lake view...but they were shut down. Also our spot was very difficult to get into with large trees on either side of the RV parking area . We did it -- but it was stressful!

Great campground. Well shaded. Good atmosphere . Take extra long water hose. We had to run into town and buy additional hose. Water was at entrance to campsite. Needed about 65 ft of hose.

Nice sites, ours not so level but a few lego blocks and we were good. No antenna TV signal, but we had enough Verizon cell service to stream videos.

Lovely COA campground Ive been going to for years. For a quieter site, try the electric only loops. Nice spacing between sites & plenty of shade.

Most all sites are shaded and have a large area with a grill. Beach is good size and lake is beautiful. Loved it.

It is a beautiful campground. Great hosts! Although there was lots of tree coverage we were still able to use our starlink.
