Water line had been dug up and was very unlevel and muddy right in the middle of all activities.

The grass could be mowed more often. We have had to bring our own mower out many times this summer to keep the grass at a normal length.

staff was friendly and helpful, bathrooms were clean but are showing their age, however the grass needed mowing and most of the pads need more gravel and leveling

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the campground, shower house and restrooms. The campground hosts were pleasant to deal with and keep the campsites well maintained.

Had 2 sites reserved. Was told after we got there we couldnt have 2 site without a tent on each site. Couldnt cancel myself because it was the day we were there. Only used one site and never got refunded for a site we couldnt use. And we were the only campers on loop B the whole time we were there. The whole loop B needed to be mowed. Was not fun sitting by the water fishing when the grass was over your ankles.

Beautiful

It would help if the camp sites were more level and had more rock base to them.
@EvaG8725415 · Camped on May 22, 2024 at Campsite #A25
Everything was great but a suggestion, if you wait to mow when the grass is really tall you might bag it or at least go over it again. It was kind of annoying when playing games. Other than that we had a great time & will be back.

With removal of fish cleaning station - we will find another camp ground. Also, dead tree removal seems to be a never ending problem.

We enjoyed our stay at Farnum Creek. The only exception was the weather which you have no control over.

Easy to go on line to reserve a site, after we arrived. Nice 3 night get away. Shower house walls were dirty but other than that the restrooms were much cleaner. Site was a nice size for our 25 foot toyhauler. Easy to level. The summer ranger came by to clean out the fire pit which was 3/4 full of ash. We did not have a picnic table on site, but the same summer ranger pulled one over on our site. Nice young man!

Beautiful, well cared for campground.

Need to cut down some dead and dying trees. Next to have time to leave changed to 2 or 3pm , not 6pm. No one likes to set up during supper time. Most places you have to be out by 2pm (or even earlier). Need to level out and add rock to a lot of campsites in upper A loop. Need more 50 amp spots.Otherwise we like Farnum creek. Have been coming every year several times a summer for years.

Nice quiet campground.

Best campground in the local area. Easy access to EVERYTHING. Beautiful campground. Bathrooms and showers are kept very clean. Campground itself could use some upgrades as over the last 15 years, I have upgraded my camper and the campground could use more 50amp spaces. It could also use some TLC on many of the spaces as they are not level, on grades that are are unsafe and some of the rock used is way too big to walk on without turning an ankle. The camp hosts and the volunteers are the absolute BEST... Keep up the good work.

Showers are poorly designed and the water is far too hot.

Not a big fan of shower house but it works

Camp host were nice and enjoyed our stay.

None of the pads are level, leaves completely filled the site. Ticks everywhere! Every time I stepped out of my MotorHome I had a tick crawling on me. Host came by the second day and accused me of squatting, wanted me to leave. My reservation was paid online and for two weeks. Rude hosts.
@CharlesS661433 · Camped on May 3, 2023 at Campsite #A1
Howard and his wife are the greatest camp hosts you could ever ask for. With just a little more TLC this could be an outstanding campground. Especially removal of dead trees (like the one hanging over site A001 which we were in)

Only issue is The bar Across The Lake at Perry Lake on The weekends The Loud music is a major issue when trying to relax and take in The peace and quite. Thats The reason we leave The City is to get away from those things.
@LaurieF3425140 · Camped on Apr 28, 2023 at Campsite #A29
The only bad thing was, you could not call them and ask questions. So we paid for an extra day because check in time was 6 pm.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
