We had a great time staying at Cabin #2. Karen the Camp Host was very helpful. We would like to stay for a week in the spring Karen...thank you.

The campsites are awesome, very large and nice and level. We were moved to a different loop because our loop closed for the season when we camped the last weekend of October. However, the loop we were moved to, we were not given water sites (we had 3 people that reserved sites together) in the new loop. I do wish we had been told when we made the reservations that they would be closed by the time we were camping. I would think that would be planned well in advance but maybe not. Otherwise, everything was great and we enjoyed the sites very much. We will be coming back for sure. I have to say this is one of the best parks I have camped on as far as size and levelness of the sites. Very very nice. This park is very beautiful.

We really enjoy Hardin Ridge due to less traffic and bigger sites. This trip we stayed in BlueGill 133, which was ok. The site was big, but the placement of the fire pit was odd. Plus the pit wasnt buried in the ground so when we had a fire we couldnt see it or stay warm from it. The pit was probably 2 ft above ground, but in addition to that the park ran out of firewood mid weekend and was sending people 20 minutes out of town if you needed it. We ended up driving to get some but some other people couldnt because they would have had to pack up to drive. The weekend we were there was their Fall event and trick or treating which was fun. We didnt have any kids but handed out candy and enjoyed seeing all the costumes and families participating.

We love Harden Ridge! It is quiet, clean and if you can find a good site, secluded in the woods! If you are confused about the information you find online, it definitely needs to be updated so I recommend giving them a call.

It would be nice to have full hook up at all sites. Doesn't make sense how some sites have it but others dont.

We enjoy Hardin Ridge very much. We have been going there for over 30 years and will continue to do so. The camp sites are mostly large and provide plenty of room between neighbors.

Campsite was exactly as pictured. Camp hostess was excellent. Nice and very knowledgeable. Bathrooms were kept nice. We cant wait to come back next year. Love Hardin Ridge. Even better you can make reservations.

Campground was nice. I was told the campground would be closed during the winter months. I would like to see at least one primitive loop remain open for people to be able to utilize.

Always lover our stay at Hardin Ridge. The camp hosts are always so helpful and courteous. They do a great job at keeping the campsites, restrooms, and showers clean. We usually stay in the White Oak loop and it's always quiet and campers are very respectful of each other.

Site 204 was a little washed out, had to use three plus boards to get level.

I LOVE Hardin Ridge. I've been camping there since 1986! This particular visit was extraordinary - the weather, the site, and, most of all, a very kind staff member who helped me! Rusty went above and beyond, and put some gas in my motorhome as the computer was indicating I would not have enough gas to get home - or even to the nearest gas station! In the midst of clearing and cutting trees, he took the time to assure my safety and calm my fears! And with a smile!

Amazing cap site. One of the best sites we have ever camped at. However, the only problem we had were the showers. Barely any warm water and were very dirty. Which was surprising because the bathrooms were very clean right next to them. Will camp here again though.

LOVED our time at Hardin Ridge! It was mid-week, after Labor Day and we were the ONLY campers on our spur so it was delightfully quiet. (I think it might have been less pleasant for us had we come when they were booked solid the week before...but I'm a bit of a misanthrope, LOL). Our site was in perfect shape, and the pit toilet was impeccably clean. Showers at the shower house were "meh"...one had a faulty nozzle but since the campground was not crowded it was easy to switch to a different shower which was better (though a tad chilly). Cell signal was non-existent in some places, but decent at our site. I look forward to coming back again someday!

Loved the camping spot we had.

52 is definitely one of the best spots on SPT. Lots of room, pretty level, good trees for a hammock, and private. A bit of a walk to the facilities, but so what? It's a nice walk. Speaking of which, the facilities are neat and clean, the camp hosts are great, and there's just a nice sense of fun and relaxation at Hardin Ridge.
@RobertS9225788 · Camped on Aug 16, 2024 at Campsite #188
Park was very nice, quiet, peaceful, and the sites were huge. The only thing we didnt like was that the shower house had lights burnt out inside the bathroom and the showers were pretty dirty, full of bugs, and they smelled like they never get cleaned. We are used to the state park showers that usually smell like bleach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably come back again.
@MaryA8824979 · Camped on Aug 16, 2024 at Campsite #102
Our stay was wonderful as always, but you need to know if the site says FF, you still need a reservation for that spot, even though the site will not let you book a FF site on line.
@jamesy5657209 · Camped on Aug 16, 2024 at Campsite #47
We have never been to this park before. The staff was very helpful when checking in and arranging for a campsite. The facilities were well maintained and very clean.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
