Beautiful site. Would definitely stay again. Our neighbors had a little black bear visit during dinner but he didn't come back after they spooked him off twice.

Was looking for an easy location since I was hiking over with my son. Beautiful hike, short time from the dock. View was fantastic with a lot of privacy

Beautiful well maintained camp site. There is a vaulted pit toilet ~200 yards away from the campsite. The park service provides some firewood, and there is a bear box and bear pole ~200 feet from the picnic table and iron ring fire pit.

Awesome site! After a 2 mile hike it there was excellent source of water from Lake Superior and spacious set up. We wished we were made aware of the camp fire ring with the benches and picnic benches so we didn’t have to pack so much. Water access was great and a pit was nearby for human elimination needs. Bear pole at every site is super awesome!

This campsite isn’t marked on the road. Make sure you don’t walk past it. Stop at the group campsite and follow the path north along the lake shore.

I was not able to enjoy this opportunity. Gale force winds prevented taking the single means of transportation, a pontoon boat, across the channel in Lake Superior to the island. I looked at the cancellation policy and there was no reason to cancel since no refund.

This was a perfect spot. Right on the water, close to the park, close distance to trails. They refilled the wood daily which was nice. It was a clean campsite. This was the first time I had ever had to use the bear poles for food and storage. It was kind of fun figuring out how to get it all up there! I would recommend this site.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
