Beautiful campsite, with friendly helpful host.Electric hookup was in fact 15amp, 30amp and 50amp so more than expected.Amazing views of valley.Some road noise, but mostly hidden by sound of nearby river.Perfect location for Doctor Park Mtb trail.25mins to Gunnison and Crested Butte.

Host very good. Park service needs to prioritize getting water system fixed for One Mile.

Still no water available within One Mile. For over 2 years now! Very clean and well maintained vault toilets. Great management. USFS has apparently deprioritized One Mile for water availability. Beautiful natural spot. We've camped there for several summers.

We always liked One Mile, but things have changed. The campground hosts were excellent, but the upkeep of the campground has been terrible. The main complaint is the water has been shut off for years and really makes the experience a pain. Why can't it be addressed. The other complaint I have is the exhaust fan in the south restrooms has been out for some time. Also, some of the tables are in need of attention. But, we still enjoy One Mile Campground.

Beautiful area. Camp hosts were great. We can't wait to go back. We had att and Verizon and had service which was a plus for my husband's business.

We visited this campground July 5-7, 2023, and had a great time here. The camp was quiet - no ATVs allowed - and our campsite #14 was shaded and very comfortable. The camp host, Danielle, was wonderful and keep the grounds and pit toilets very clean. We will be back.

All sites are very close to the main highway and you will hear the traffic. There is no water or dump station, just electricity. The grounds and outhouses are kept up well.

We stayed in site 17. It is a nice pull through site in the river side. Our host sent a text before we arrived reminding us that there is no water. We filled out tank at Lottis Creek with no problem. We were here for the cattle drive. Fun to hear the cattle and see the cowboys. This is one of our favorite campgrounds in Colorado. The host are excellent and campground very clean.

One Mile is one of my favorite campgrounds, but it is being allowed to deteriorate. I have not been able to find out if water will ever be available there again. The interior road has some serious pot holes. Some campsites are bordered with the dead remains of trees that have been cut down. The ancient outhouses need to be replaced. If you have loved this place in the past, be prepared for some disappointment.

We were in site 14. It was a long level pull through site. Lots of room. There were several long pull throughs. Camp host was always around when needed.

Taylor Canyon is gorgeous but couldn’t make up for the constant traffic on the very nearby roadway (CR-742). We forfeited our fees to move on to a National Forest campsite after one night.

Very clean and well managed…thanks to a great camp host.

Very nice campground, and the host is doing an excellent job. We did have to get water from Lotis Creek campground on the way, as the state had them shut the water down here....no matter. I did use the bathroom near us one time, and it was very clean. Our RV of course has its own. It was nice that they did some recent tree cutting/trimming right at our site, so I had some nice wood to use a couple nights for fires. Verizon cell service here is pretty good. The site we were in had electrical hookups too. Not sure if all have them.

Very nice National Forest campground. Clean bathrooms and sites well spaced. We enjoyed the wildflowers in the Crested Butte area.

Hosts were great. Friendly. Keep restrooms very clean. Only complaint is no available water. We moved 2 days early to Lottis Creek CG where water is available.

Hosts are great, but management chose to shit the water off to guests (while 2 host sites maintained water hookups). The least that could have been done is a discount rate. Vents in one toilet didn't work - smell was awful.

The reservation system double booked my reservation, I lost 68 dollars as a result. The reservation system has become unusable, too many campsites are “first come” and the length of stay is too long (2weeks). Both of these factors limit the availability of campsites in a time when the demand for sites has increased By multiple factors as RV Dale’s has reached an all time high. Very sad that fewer people have the ability to reserve many campsites.

Have been going here for years and never a bad trip! Hosts have always been accommodating, cordial and attentive. Well maintained sites and promptly turned around upon guest departures.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
