Our site (#026) was clean but very exposed with little to no privacy. Not the worst though as its back against thick woods. My only complaint was all the rude dog owners we encountered with off leash dogs in the campground and by the creek. Had one dog attack my on leash dog and Im the one who got cussed out. Not sure if I will be returning considering how often this happened during our stay. If your dog doesnt have a good recall DONT LET IT OFF LEASH! I dont care if hes friendly cuz half the time THEY ARENT. Especially in an area where its prohibited. Common sense people.

Campsite was beautiful but online said camp fires were okay but when we arrived camp fires were not allowed.

Nice quiet campground, perfect place to relax and walk along either the creek or the river. Had a great weekend with my family there. The host was super friendly and helpful as well.

This is a beautiful forest campground at the confluence of the Wind River and Paradise Creek. It's well maintained and peaceful. It's best for visitors who want a quiet experience immersed in Pacific Northwest serenity.

I was surprised at the noise from the road.I left for home early because of the motorcycles screaming up and down the road all day long.

Very nice shady campground near Paradise creek. Get one of the back camping spots if you can - the front has a lot of tree fall and the spots are closer together so you need to get luckier with your neighbors.

Bathrooms can use more air fresheners or put some sawdust in them. Sawdust would be so helpful

We love this campground for the 4th of July! Our poor pups are always our first concern when it comes to safety around this holiday as they HATE fireworks. Thank you so much for providing such a clean, peaceful and well taken care of (and monitored) campsite. Very refreshing and always friendly!!

One of our favorite campgrounds. Have been camping here for over 25+ yrs. Great base for adventuring around Mt St Helens, Lewis river and all the reservoirs, Swift being the closest JA- Portland OR

The campground was busy but I never felt like the other sites were too close! The host was super friendly and the bathrooms were as clean as you can expect a pit toilet to be.

The campground toilets and camp sites were very clean. The camp host was wonderful. We enjoyed campfires and the convenient wood available to purchase ($10 per bundle). We did find it odd there was limited public access to Paradise Creek from the campground without walking through some one's camp. We brought water, as we found out the water pump water is not desirable.

The campground was great. Sites were spaced appropriately and the host was helpful and welcoming. We received a few hiking suggestions from the camp host and loved them all!

Paradise Creek is a wonderful little campground in a truly beautiful place! We appreciated being able to easily access the creek and the river to splash around and cool off in. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired though. I've stayed in many other campgrounds in this area with pit toilets so thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong. The flies and yellow jackets are swarming everywhere, the floors are sticky and there's no hand sanitizer in any of the bathrooms. I'm just grateful that the toilet paper got replaced every day. Not ideal for camping with kids but we made it work!

Had a good wonderful time. Camp site 8 needs some care it had a lot of ruts in the tent area, had to place the tent on the pavement.

Great place to camp. Quiet, just far enough away from town to be in the "wilderness" and close enough to get back if needed. The camp attendant was super helpful and a highly experienced woodsman.

Peaceful, beautiful and very well kept campground. Its worth the extra push to go here from Beaver or Panther Creek Campgrounds. We landed on a Wednesday afternoon and there were plenty of FCFS spots but by Friday early they were booked. We had the perfect spot along the creek which aloud for our own private little oasis. Theres a couple trails to explore right from the campground that were fun. Having no cell service was a bonus! Jason the camp host is a very knowledgeable nice guy and has his version of google and google maps which was super helpful.

All shade, great campground, clean, host was awesome. Only small river access directly next to the camp but still nice for the kids. Large camp spaces. Dog friendly.

Lovely campground, very peaceful. Actually saw several owls! Also, perhaps the best camp host weve encountered. Helpful, made available a bunch of his own maps and books, and super friendly. Bathrooms were very clean and shockingly not smelly for vault toilets

Best camp host ever. We’ve had him as camp host at other campgrounds previous years and we’re excited to find him here. He really gets to know the area and has tons of information. He is active in patrolling and making sure everyone is having a wonderful experience.

The host was very helpful and the site was clean My main concern was that the road to the campsites were daily filled with bikes and Razor Scooters being ridden by youth racing round and round and round the campgrounds It made the stay stressful and noisy with the only quite time being after dark!

Paradise lived up to its name! The old growth forest, pleasant quiet campers. Campground Beyond clean and well maintained . Not just the waters sparkled. To top off perfect weather and a calm 4 th Our camp host Jason was THE BEST. Full of information about the area. Eagerly sharing tips . He was delightful and helpful. I was camping with an injury and he chopped my firewood! Above and beyond his job description . He cares about the Forrest and does all he can help people be safe and have a great experience. I have booked another stay for this weekend.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
