I so enjoyed my time here at toto creek, it's a little slice of heaven. The sound of crickets at night and the birds in the morning was wonderful. Just what I needed, but what really made our trip special was the Mrs. Nat. Let me tell ya I have never been made to feel so welcome and made to feel at as she made us feel. She was amazing and just the sweetest person. She even made my 4 fur-babies feel loved and they so enjoyed the treats. We will be coming back again not only to camp but to see Mrs. Nat. She's more than just a host she's our friend for life. Thank you for showing us a wonderful experience, love shanna, Drayton, Charlie, Marlee, tripp and truly

Toto Creek is a Gem! Nats and her husband have not only been outstanding hosts and guardians of the property but have honestly become mine and many other campers friends. They are the best thing about this place. They care about the guests. Above and beyond most other places I’ve camped on the Lake. They make the difference. Sincerely

Beautiful place, but we love it more if they have showers 😀

The campsite was clean and well-kept. The nearby boat ramp was convenient for our kayaks. The campground manager, Nan, was attentive and helpful when we first arrived. Campers at the surrounding sites were polite and quiet. The bathrooms were OUT-OF-ORDER rendering the campgrounds VERY primitive. The COE should at least have portable accommodations until the facilities are repaired.

Only drawback, the campground area really needs its own restrooms and showers, especially since they are locked in overnight, basic amenities…

The Park attendant is awesome. We wanted to camp where we had good access to the lake, but after camping at Toto creek campground, we decided Nat, the park attendant made it worth having to walk thru woods to get to water. We keep going back, because of her hospitality.

What an amazing campground! It’s right by the water each spot had lots of space, and the people running the place were incredible! I couldn’t recommend this campground enough and am so incredibly grateful for the kindness of its owners! Thank you Nat!

The hosts at Toto Creek are excellent! We felt comfortable leaving our tent and belongings at our site to go on day trips, because we knew Natt and her husband would look after everything. Yahoola Creek Park and downtown Dahlonega are not far from the campground and we enjoyed our time there. My boys had a great time fishing at the lake and caught several fish. There's plenty of room between each campsite so you're not too close to your neighbors. The only downside is that the bathrooms are a bit of a walk. Overall the campground is nice but the hosts are what make it great. We will definitely be back!

It was ok except for that bitch of a person living out their van. Bunch of yellow jackets and falling limbs were concerning

Wonderful experience. The campground host Natt Morton was the best. She not only provided me with anything I needed, but she was so exceptionally nice and professional. I felt like I was at a retreat instead of a campground. The campground is great though, with wonderful trails and views. And the lake is spectacular. Will definitely make another trip there.

STAY AWAY. Campground was great until the weekend was over. Some unsavory people started to wander around. I mentioned to the host of a vehicle coming in and parking beside my spot and just sitting there and then leaving after about 10 minutes. She said no one was supposed to be there except myself and that she would look into it. The vehicle showed up again, and she didn't recognize it, she went to talk to the individual, and then her demeanor and answers changed. She said oh I know him, that they were friends. I said ok. They talked for a minute in front of my spot and then moved to a different spot and talked for another 30 minutes and then both left. About an hour later the same individual shows back up and starts pitching a tent, music loud and then he walks into the woods and comes by my spot and asks, "you're not leaving are you?" By this time I'm extremely spooked. I packed as fast as I could and left immediately. The next morning I called the corps of engineers and spoke to a person who said he was the ranger in charge, a Joseph fulcher. He said to email him the description and details and he would email me back. Never heard back... my advice is to stay far away from this campground. There is no gate for the campsite itself, so anyone can drive on up without anyone stopping them at all. There is a gate that is front of the road for both the picnic area and the campsite, but again no one monitors anything. Also the bathrooms are OUTSIDE of the gate approximately 1/2 mile away from the campsites, so if you need to use the restroom in the night good luck with that. Bring your own tp and find a spot in the woods.

Has restrooms now showers or electric. Sites are nice and really well kept. Camp host is amazing and is really helpful. Near to Dawsonville Car Museum, Outlet Mall, and Dahlonega where you can go tubing, shop, or pan for Gold. Lots to do in the mountains. We hiked at DeSoto Falls which is a great destination and an easy hike for families and kids. We'll be back.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
