Clean, roomy, river front access. Great host!

One of my favorite campgrounds. There are no amenities, but the views make up for it.

Could hear rapids in the creek from the campsite. There were a few paths back to the creek where you could get in the water, play with rocks, and fish. The sites were close but felt like you had some privacy and all were fully shaded.

The campsite was quiet and dark. Sites were a good size with picnic tables and bear boxes provided. We enjoyed being so close to the creek.

Nice campground with a helpful host. No issues getting our 30 5th wheel in and out of the spot. Easy access to Glacier via Camas entrance. ~5 mi dirt road with moderate washboarding as of Sept 23. No starlink service in our spot.

We chose to drive through Glacier NP on Camas road and avoid the 19 mile gravel road from Columbia Falls. This route included 2 miles of gravel. Because we did not have Going to the Sun passes, we entered Glacier NP after 3 pm, and needed to exit before 6 am. The campground itself was beyond our expectations, isolated, spacious sites, with a beautiful river running alongside. The host was available and helpful for any needs. There is water, no electricity, no dump. We camped in early July in a 25 ft Airstream.

good place to stay just outside glacier to go visit bowman lake/polebridge. very clean bathrooms.

Fantastic site with sandy beach to the rocky shore! A mega hit with our family of 3 and pup. There was plenty of space for more tents if needed. Bathrooms could have used more attention and water is a hand pump but potable. Host was great and had firewood for sale. We loved our site and will be back! Boat launch and campsites are busy during boating season. Not too far from Columbia Falls, Polebridge, or the Camas entrance to GTSR.

Especially good for those with drift boat or raft. Super quiet and convenient access to the trout waters of the Flathead river. I was able to catch a couple of rainbows, though others were finding it a bit tougher

The camp host was awesome. I do not believe he has to blow of the driveways that's a waste of taxpayer dollars. your camping get the experience.

Nice secluded spot along the river. Fall asleep to the sound of a rushing water.

I've been camping in the campground for over 35 years. This year, the new host was very nice and the campground was immaculate. My only complaint is not with the campground but this lame reservation system that has basically eliminated the ability for the people who live here to just go find a spot for a weekend. You have to be up early and online when the system opens for reservations and it has been sold out immediately as soon as it is open. The rolling opening dates are impossible to plan a trip for a certain time of the year without have to reserve either days earlier than you would like or later than you would like. This system SUCKS and needs to go away, or at least give locals a 5 day window before the rest of the world can take away any chance of getting a spot.

The most important contributing factor to a great experience at this campground was the information provided BEFORE I booked the reservation. This is in a beautiful, secluded location with (clean & well maintained) pit toilets and no running water. All of this information was clearly stated on the Big Creem Campground site so I knew exactly what to except upon my arrival and - Wow! - what a fantastic location. I was on site #13 next to the river. The sandy beach provided a great spot to watch the river and mountains glow with the colors of sunset. The firepit had enough ash to support a good fire yet was clean and free of debris so I felt comfortable cooking dinner on the grate provided. Pam and her sweet friend Mrs. Whiskers were gracious camp hosts. She even made a special run for firewood for us. The campers on the neighboring sites were friendly. Everyone was respectful of quiet hours and followed good camp etiquette. I have already recommended this campground to multiple families and hope to return again soon.

Great campground, quiet, respectful campers, good host, and beautiful river. One big downside, the road leading to the campground is SO bad. It is gravel/dirt and completely uneven for miles, we did not go above like 15 miles an hour. At one point it was so bumpy we got out to check if we had popped a tire. Would not recommend if you are in a small car (we were in a Toyota Corolla).

The campground is awesome and warrants a 5 star review. The reason for the 3 star review is the road leading to the campground. We went through Glacier NP and exited the park at the north entrance. After exiting the park you travel for 2 miles on a "gravel road". I've been on jeep roads better than that road. Extreme washboarding makes it very difficult and even dangerous to travel with a big rig. I don't know what agency is responsible for that road but whomever is responsible for the road should be fired.

Great camp site with nice shady and spacious campsites right along the Flathead River. Will definitely be coming back!

I nice spot between Glacier and Columbia Falls to camp if you cant get Glacier reservations.
@Elizabeth96325 · Camped on Aug 22, 2022 at Campsite #8
The campground was clean, had large campsites, and the host was friendly. We loved the proximity to the river. Just a few miles drive to the Camas Entrance of Glacier National Park, which was much less busy than the West Entrance.
@StephenH630534 · Camped on Aug 21, 2022 at Campsite #18
Beautiful campground on the north fork of the Flathead river. A little rough to get to as the north fork road is currently under construction. Our site unfortunately was not on the river so next time I would be sure to book a site on the other side of the road. Vault toilets were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little campground just outside of Glacier National Park. The campground itself has nicely spaced campsites. No hookups. There was water available in the campground but no way to easily fill our trailer -- the water has to be pumped. So we filled a 5 gallon container and dumped it in by hand. Fortunately we already had a bit of water in our tank so it only took 4 by hand fill ups. The spaces closest to the river are the nicest, but the others were fine, too. The road down the hill from GNP was about 2-3 miles of really bad washboard gravel however. The road on to Polebridge was a recently regraded, watered-down gravel road that was absolutely fine to drive on. Camp host was very nice. She told us a grizzly had been seen for a couple of days in the camp just prior to our arrival, however we never saw him (much to my relief and my husband's disappointment!). We did see a beautiful buck hanging out around our site (#3) one afternoon. Super easy to get into the park -- from this entrance. No waiting whatsoever.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
