Very private, very quiet campground. We were site 1, which meant all the vehicles had to pass our site to enter but that didn't bother us. We had a great view and access to the little riverbed behind us. Hummingbirds visited the flowers near us. Owls could be heard hooting at night. Perfectly dark sky for stargazing. Capitol Reef NP was only a 15 min drive away. Check out the Etta Cidery nearby for delicious cider!

I kind of hate to write this review because we loved this campground so much and dont want it to become too popular (and inaccessible). We were in one of the group sites. It had everything, even a little shade. We enjoyed exploring the creek that runs through the campground and the 1-mi hike along it. It was a short drive to Capitol Reef as well. We will definitely be back!

We really liked the campground. We chose the more secluded site because we have dogs and did not want to bother other campers with them. We found the campground clean, easy to use, and enjoyable for many reasons. The only thing we had just a little issue with was the mosquitos. We had a wonderful time there.

Great campground with a close location to Capitol Reef. We drove the 1 hour to the Lower Calf Creek Falls hike over the scenic Highway 12 which was incredible. Highly recommend it!

A short 30-minute drive to Capitol Reef NP, perfect! Also beautiful in its own right. If you have a little time, walk up the canyon at the end of the road to a pretty little grotto. Quiet too!

Beautiful setting. Paved road to campground so easy on motorcycle. #2 is a nice site for tent camping.

I was a bit skeptical about this site as I couldn't find many pictures or reviews, but this is hands down our favorite campsite we stayed at on our 10-day vacation in Utah. It's tucked in this beautiful amphitheater-like rock formation and is so quiet and peaceful. A small stream runs right behind it, and my kids had an absolute blast. If were ever even semi-close to this area, we will go out of our way to stay here again! 10/10!

This was a spectacular one-night visit. Next time we'll spend much more at Sun Glow.

Bathrooms were clean with running water. No showers though. Nice sunrise point

Very small campground that was quiet and private. The sites were of decent size. I would recommend this campground as long as you're comfortable with no electricity. Water was easily accessible at spigots at each campsite. This was a 25 minutes drive from Capital Reef National Park. No large cities around so purchase your groceries elsewhere before arrival or you will pay a stiff premium. Keep in mind the campground is 1st come 1st serve and only had a few sites so don't be surprised if it's full. We were there June 15-17 and it was full each night we were there.

With the recent flash floods, the canyon above camp is a bit of a mess with boulders. It made for some fun scrambling, but it takes some effort to hike far up the canyon. The drainage to the west of the campground is still an easier hike. There is another trail half way between camp and the blacktop, but we didn't have a chance to check it out.

Beautiful and secluded. If you have an Rv or trailer then choose a group camp just for ease of parking, and group site A is a bit nicer. Spickets at every campsite is a huge plus. Seems to be the only campsite in the area that if using a trailer or RV allows you the amenities of a campsite without the overcrowding of an RV park, and with beautiful desert scenery as opposed to Forrest scenery. Quiet during the week. A truly great option for a few relaxing desert nights.

The Group B site was great. Trees, close to restrooms, several tent spots. We had a great time!

Great option for people looking for a group site big enough for 5 campers of any size. Beautiful setting and fun for kids.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
