Very nicely maintained cabin in a location that's less remote than many others (good for families or those that wish to be near amenities).

Cabin has electricity, lights, an oven, and a fridge. No cell service. The creek running behind the back porch was lovely. Lulled us right to sleep.

Our time at Mill Creek Cabin was spectacular. The cabin and furnishings exceeded our expectations, and the surroundings were spectacular. I will definitely return for another visit.

What a great cabin! Well maintained and clean. Would definitely like to stay again some day. Loved the locked gate so others should not be walking up to the cabin while you are there.

We had a great time at Mill Creek cabin. The cabin had everything we needed . It was great to have electricity too.

Wow…this was our first FS Cabin experience and we really enjoyed it. We’ll be researching more for sure!

Always a great stay!

Beautiful location with access to the creek and hiking trails. Be ready to split some wood because all the logs are just in half and not small enough to fit in the wood stove. Back porch over the creek was a wonderful way to sit and enjoy a morning coffee (or a late night drink).

Having read through the guest log I made it my responsibility to leave the cabin, and its grounds, cleaner than I found it. The stove was awesome for heating in the cold mornings. The outhouse was also great. Overall, we can't wait to come back and explore more of the trails.

I have been a visitor for many years. The location is excellent. My visit 4/29 - 5/2 was very good.

Wonderful cabin. Bigger than most. Has electricity - lights and a stove. Its a little hard to get water from the stream in the winter so better to bring water.

Amazing cabin for a mid-week retreat. Grateful!

The cabin was easy to get to And a nice spot along the creek. Not the greatest weather for cross country skiing (not the cabins fault!). but it was a nice spot for a getaway.

Drove to the cabin in the dark (in January) and found it no problem. Cabin has pots for cooking and stays plenty warm during winter months with the stove burning. Bring your own wood!

Great location, and even though the stove isn't "new" anymore, it has been a huge upgrade.

The price of the cabin has more than doubled yet no improvements have been made and the property is suffering from deferred maintenance. Part of one window is missing and has card board taped up. The front door handle is coming off. There are only two chairs and one is coming apart. There is more flooring missing than present. That said it is a beautiful location and a cool old cabin.

I loved it, you’ll probably hate it

It was just my daughter and I so we were very grateful there was firewood already split for us because it snowed while we were there. The road was easy and the cabin was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to Mill Creek at night and we did carry bear spray to the outhouse. It was wonderfully peaceful and we were blessed to enjoy electricity and were thankful we didn’t have cell service because we wanted to be unreachable for a couple days. We did drive out to visit Chico Hot Springs but other than that we stayed at the cozy little cabin!

We went to Mill Creek Cabin in April not exactly knowing what the weather would be like. We were able to make a fire and cook outside - the rain and cold came but we were warm and comfortable inside the cabin. Snow covered the ground the following day. The cabin was exceptionally clean and the bunk beds were comfortable.
@RebeccaH854 · Camped on Apr 5, 2021 at Campsite #1
It was a nice stay. There was more traffic than in past years. I saw only a few mice droppings in the sink. Other than that it was clean. I do wish the deck had the posts at the end nearest the creek so kids or pets are more safe. All in all it was a good visit though.

Great location near trails and xcountry skiing. Plenty of chopped wood and kindling. The new stove keeps the cabin nice and toasty. Always a pleasure to staying at Mill Creek.

Enjoyed the cabin as always, the new wood stove was much appreciated.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
