The campground was clean and beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and wells stocked. The camp host, Bob, was great- we were there for a week for our family reunion and were able to reserve all of the sites in the campground- we invited Bob to all of our meals and he became one of the family members over the week. The site is close to the road thats the only downside.

Cabin Creek Campground was poorly maintained. The vault toilets were very smelly and unkept. One did not even have any toilet paper.

Outstanding camp host and perfect location for fishing. The only issue is that there were so many caterpillars coming out of the trees on to everything.
@CraigS2150196 · Camped on Jul 3, 2024 at Campsite #14
Spruce bud worms were falling from the trees and were on everything ....by the thousand. Not a yearly event, but bad timing for us.

This campground is always great. Big variation in size in the spots which isnt really reflected on the site. One site will have room for five tents while another may only have room for two. Bathrooms are always good and clean and never smell bad. If you see other reviews complaining about service, they are right. You will be able to text and make calls, our group had three different carriers and were able to. You wont be able to stream Netflix but you are camping so I hope you arent wanting to. After about 9 pm the road noise goes down to about nothing so dont worry about that. We had sites 7 and 8 right across from bathrooms. Saw another review complaining about the noise from the doors closing, didnt wake or bother any of us up the 6 days we were there. Highly recommend this site. Great falling asleep to the sound of the stream. Camp host was friendly and great as well.

Smaller campground, but very well maintained.

Great location - peaceful spot with nearby hiking trail, close to West Yellowstone. Beautiful setting, and right across from a resort with a restaurant and general store.

Great campsite with close proximity to fly fishing camp/store. Amanda worked with our group to adjust our spots, and they keep all facilities in excellent shape!!

SO the camp is great itself. The Space I took for two days was in front of the bathroom and everytime someone used it even at 9pm the door slammed shut and woke me up since i was there to fish and needed to get up early. Then I left early the 2nd day and when I returned my camp chair was gone. We looked for it with the nice camp host but to no avail. That has never happened to me in any camp. So shady people are on the road these days and I recommend everyone not leave things out. Also the same gypsy family I think took my chair who were parked next to me claimed to see bear paw tracks on the trail behind the camp. Keep your bear spray on you no matter what. Also, if you use satellite for your wifi these days, most camps in montana have trees that will impede that so think ahead.

Wonderful host, lovely, quiet campground. Amenities just right- we rent camped.

This was an awesome campground. The camp host was exceptional. The sites are quiet and beautiful. There is a cafe just across the street if you want to have breakfast. It was the BEST. We will definitely return.

One of the best campsites I've ever stayed in. The host was thoughtful, kind, and flexible! Firewood was abundant, and the vault toilets actually smelled good, which I honestly didn't even know was possible. I think the host cleaned them every single day! An absolute must-stay if you're in the area.

I wasn't able to go. My part of Montana was under a Red Flag Warning for the week I planned to be camping. There was no way to cancel.

Fun and Very Clean Campground. Very well Maintained and Great Camp host. 1 critique is note that campsites are shared. We stayed in #14. #14 and #15 are really shared and very much on top of one another. This should be noted in the descriptions of the campground

Small campground with great access to hikes and lakes with a short drive. Lots of shade !

Not too far from Yellowstone. Easy to get to the river and quake lake. Had fun.

Good campground; sites are spaced well apart. Acceptably clean out houses. Good water. Nice host. Right off the highway, though, but the traffic noise was not bad.
@stellad6479481 · Camped on Jul 9, 2022 at Campsite #15
Wonderful small campground. Buffy the hostess was super friendly and helpful. Bear boxes are shared between campsites. Not the best system! We had to walk into the neighboring site to retrieve our food. Also, boxes weren’t big enough. Sites should have own box big enough for dry goods and ice chest

Great campground near a very interesting and educational geographical area. We need to go back because we missed the Ghost Village.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
