The park boasts a well-equipped campground with 50 sites suitable for tents or RVs, complete with modern amenities such as electrical hookups, showers, and a dump station. As a year-round destination, Yampa River State Park transforms into a winter wonderland, featuring snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on its pristine trails.

Yampa River Campground is part of Yampa River State Park in Colorado (3 hrs 40 min west of Boulder, CO) with an elevation of 6,300 feet. There are a total of 51 campsites including 2 cabins. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to the end of November. 35 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 50 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 35 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $35.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, laundry facility, playground, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include biking, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.
