Mueller State Park #19. A very nice pull through site which easily accommodated by full size pickup and a 22 foot travel trailer. Easy in and out on the paved roads. Very private site with a great view of the forest out your door. Generally quiet spot depending on neighbors. This site had morning sun and afternoon shade which made it ideal in my opinion. We loved this site and would stay here again. Campground has several loops and we prefer this one based on the privacy and space between the other sites. RV dump station along with flush toilets and showers make this a great campground. Many hiking opportunities here as well. About a 10 minute drive into the town of Divide for groceries, brewery and other shops.

Mueller State Park is just a bit over 2 hours from the Denver area. At an elevation of 9600 feet, the weather is considerably cooler than Denver/Colorado Springs. We were there 9/29-10/3 and the high temperatures were in the 50's to low 60's. Evening temps in the mid-30's to low 40's. We stayed in site 82 which I think is the best spot in the entire park. The campsite opens to a nice valley with spectacular view. Easy walking distance to bathrooms and coin showers which were very clean. A water connection across the road. Most of the sites are pull-through spots that can accommodate larger trailers. Great views of Pikes Peak from many areas in the park with lots of hiking trails. Very quiet at our site but we did hear a bit of noise from other sites at times.
