I made the reset a week ago and when I got there the forest rangers told me it burnt down 3 weeks agoAnd I even got a confirmation email telling me not to forget to be thereSo why didn't I get a update on the forest being burnt down?I prepared for a very long time because this was my first time camping and I am very upset that this company didn't tell me that the forest burnt down and continued to sell reservations

Very secluded location for a large group. The big fire rings are great to accommodate 40 happy campers around it. There are two water taps which made it very convenient. The only complain is the vault toilet which stunk pretty badly.

Falcon group site is a very accomodating for large groups. The firepit is big enough to keep the entire group warm on the cool Cleveland National Forest nights. There are wooden picnic benches and a vaulted toliet that makes camping a little more comfortable. The parking may get a little tight, but if you are efficient with the space it shouldn't be an issue. I would book the Falcon Groupsite again.

Lovely stay at Yarr site. Vault toilets so just watch out when downwind! Beautiful sunrise close by if you walk out of site and head towards forest route!

Peaceful weekend. Lots of hike options nearby. Convenient bathroom that was well maintained. Three sturdy table and benches and park provided bucket by spicket. All very helpful. Some things to note though… there’s lots of rocks in ground and site is on a mild slope so choose wisely where you want to pitch your tent. No sign to indicate the campsite, that would have been helpful.

Unfortunately this campsite is not so reserved as expected , the site is big enough for the 25/30 people but the location and privacy was not the best , we had a bad experience of unwelcome visitors using our parking lot and restrooms . The parking is restricted to 6 cars only but somehow other people managed to park and leave there vehicles at out site , also they would use our restrooms even if we tried to put some type of sign saying it was reserved .. we had to basically tell every single person that tried to park or used our restroom that this location was reserved, we even had an argument with a couple that refuse to believe this was a reserved location .. It’s unfortunate because this was supposed to be a nice private camping family experience. Instead felt more like we had to keep a look out for intruders and direct them away from our camp site . The restrooms seemed to have been used before we arrived and not clean at all . I really wanted to like this place since it was not far from my location and the size is really great for a group of families . Some advise if you plan to visit this location , take a rope or lights or cones something to indicate this is a reserved location and not for the public .

Great group campsite for large group. We had over 40 people and there were plenty of room and more for tents with many flat shady areas. Bathrooms are clean for a pit. Just bring lysol spray for each toilet and you won’t smell it at all. The parking to the food prep area is little bit of walk so make sure you bring dollies or hand truck to move heavy stuff.

Campsite is lovely with one large fire pit. Part of the campsite is asphalt and part is dirt/ grassy. Only downside is that it was slanted somewhat and not super level. There is a designated bathroom with pit toilets for each group campsite. Ours was spotless and the weather was cool enough that it did not smell at all. There are several tables with bench seating. The 3 grills are old and rusted through the bottom. Overall, we would be happy to camp there again.

We stayed on the Sage site and was more than enough room for our 13 people. The site was mostly flat, had potable water, several benches, fire ring, and large grill, with the occasional tree root and rock to trip over. Each of the three Falcon group sites has its own pair of vault bathrooms, ours was clean and as good as a vault bathroom can be. The sites are far enough from each other that you probably won't even know they are occupied or not. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails whether you want to do an easy 2miles or difficult 20 miles. The area around the camp is beautiful, lots of oak trees, chaparral, and even some pine - all while be just a few minutes off the Ortega Highway and about 20 minutes from Lake Elsinore. Be aware that there is no cell service at the site, although you can pick up a few bars while hiking around.

Great place! Very quite and the restrooms are clean! Many trails to explore. T-Mobile only has 1 bar signal and very spotty.

Excellent spot just be mindful of the weather for the time of the year… still very cold at night in February for tent camping even with an indoor heater. End of February 2022 and there was still a bit of snow sitting out by the roads and trails.

Falcon Group camp is a must for our family’s annual campout. It’s great to be able to spread out and enjoy the entire site. Lots of great hiking available and stars abound at night!

Falcon group is a spacious camp site with a nice camping area and fire pit. I advise scoping out the area to make sure it's cold enough that all the bugs are gone, but not too cold that you freeze. We usually rent this site around October-November.

Great group campground. We had the biggest spot, and we were pretty loud until midnight with no problems. We fit 50+ people here with no problems at all. The drive up is beautiful and the campground itself is easy to access. Highly recommend for big group events!

September is peak tarantula season and they are everywhere at Falcon! If you’re into these furry arachnids then that’s your month.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
