A Wooded and quiet campground with good facilities. The bonus is a walk to Angel Falls.

Everyone was amazing, every spot beautiful. Easy ride into a couple towns around the lake. Some spots difficult to pull into at night so make sure you call the managers for advice, but they are the best! They will gladly help you out with tips and tricks. Would give a million stars if i could!!!

Awesome location. Kids loved the beach. Enjoyed hiking to the various waterfalls.

Great campground. Very level spaces, although the road pattern is not well thought out, and I could see if I had something bigger than a popup camper, getting turned around to exit would be a chore (this is loop 2, by the way). Loop 2 is also somewhat distant to the beach/swim area but the map gave a hint to that. We were conveniently located to the hiking trail, so that was a plus. Bathrooms were clean and well lit, although somewhat warm. It was June after all, so I would not expect necessarily cool, but man it was hot in those bathrooms! We very much enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Nice campsite, lots of shade, clean facilities. There with a group of friends. We tubed down Deep Creek, enjoyed sitting on the bank and watching other tubers come by.

It was a lovely, quiet place to camp. The sites are spread out and some even secluded. Don't forget good hiking boots and even a good hiking stick or poles!

Beautiful, clean, uncrowded campground with campsites that backed up to natural forest rather than other campsites.
@RussellH235385 · Camped on Oct 25, 2023 at Campsite #63
there needs to be a campground map showing each site. I was unable to reserve on mon or tue but able to reserve for thursday. Your host had no record of my reservation. I wish you were open all year.

Very nice campsite! I stayed by myself and the host was very welcoming and made me feel safe. Each site seems pretty spread out to give a sense of privacy while staying in the community. Beach access area was beautiful as well!! Will definitely be back with friends!

The facilities were clean and nice. Loved getting back with nature. Love the falls in campground. Mr. Jimmy and Podgi , the campground host and his little sweet furbaby, was always looking out for us. Can't wait to go back!!!

We really like this campground. The sites are spacious and the restrooms are clean. We've only camped in Loop 2 due to water/electric, but Loop 1 sites look amazing. Huge, wooded, private sites. We may decide to try one of those next! The beach area is nice -- a little beat up due to lack of federal funds (I'm guessing), but the scenery is so beautiful and relaxing. This is becoming our go-to campground!

This place was great! Waterfront camping on a mountain in the woods, couldn't be a nicer place.

This was our first time at lake rabun beach campground. We had a very good stay. Plenty of fire wood to pickup. Bath houses were very clean and modern. Rv Campground is a ways from the beach area so is best to drive. Only a few sites that would be good for large RV. So be aware. Ours is 20 foot pull behind but larger ones may have trouble with some roads. On cell service at all. Ono one we talked to had any service regardless of carrier. That was the thing we didn't like. If there was an emergency could be really bad.

We came to camp and observe the Feast of Tabernacles for the first time and had a wonderful experience! Surprisingly, it was actually pretty nice to "disconnect" (no cell signal whatsoever) and just spend time together as a family, and honor the maker of it all. The Lord is good and He is our provider!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
