We booked site 9 and 10. Both were awesome, but only site 10 was big enough to accommodate our large tent. I think it's 1020. Both spots were right next to this gorgeous steam/spring. It's ice cold though so don't plan on getting in... it was August. It's a very densely forested area, but the clouds left and the sky was perfectly clear. So beautiful. In the morning it rained lightly but was no big deal. It was too stormy to go to Bear Lake but it's close enough to enjoy it easily. There's no signal (we're on the Verizon network). You have to drive a few miles back to Paris Idaho for a signal. There's also no firewood available for sale at the campground. However, the Paris Country Store before you turn to go to the campground has huge bags of firewood for super cheap..7.00 in 2024 The clerk there was extremely nice too. They also have ice if you need it. There's also an ice cave nearby that sounded fun, but my kids are special needs and needed to get home. I would have stayed longer if we could. They have 2 bathrooms that are vaulted and extremely gross but they usually are. Oh and the bathrooms were not near our campsites. Kind of a walk. Not huge but don't be in a hurry to use the bathroom. LOL Site 10 has a water faucet and site 9 didn't.. weird. At least we couldn't find one. I think that pretty much covers it.

**Campsite 001 does not accommodate 100 people!** Maybe you can squeeze 40 to 50 people..it would be tight. There were lots of hornets August 8-11th is when we went. There's only one bathroom for this site and the whole time we were there it didn't get cleaned. It's a beautiful area Paris Springs and the caves and Bear lake is all close by and that was fun but the campsite itself is the problem the director drives by four or five times a day takes pictures and video of you. It feels like an invasion of privacy. Just wanted to let you all know cuz none of this information was there when I was looking it up. No service for T-Mobile or Verizon

Beautiful campground! Host was excellent: helpful, accommodating, and generous. We saw the ice caves, went to Minnetonka Cave, and spent a day on Bear Lake. Had a couple cold nights and the mosquitoes were pretty bad the first couple days (due to rain?), but even with that, we had a pretty perfect trip! Thank you!

The group areas did not accommodate as many people as posted on website. There were only two latrines for the whole campground. One is located next to group site one and the other next to group site two. Each latrine had one toilet. The mosquitoes were very bad. Each campsite does not have water.

We were in campsite 3. It was quiet with only 3 other sites being used. There was flooding in a few of the sites. We really liked the campground host. He was kind and accommodating! Love this place.

Stayed here while visiting Bear Lake NWR. Fine for one night.

We love camping here when we visit Bear Lake. It is a quiet small campground. The stars are amazing at night from this spot. You should take the short hike to the natural springs. The trail begins at to top of the campground.

Paris Springs is a small, secluded campground away from the busyness of life. It's beautiful, quiet, and wildlife can often be seen in the vicinity. The hike to the springs is a fun family activity!

Campsites were well maintained and private. Vault toilets catered to the needs of the group sites but individual sites didn't have easy access to them. Water taps in most of the sites was a luxury. Really liked the remoteness of this NF campground.

Great campsite! Super easy to find, clean and very close to bear lake! Will definitely be camping here again.

This is the perfect campground, especially if you are trying to get away from the world. Super pet friendly and awesome. The only downside is you need to pack out your trash so prepare for that. They only have two bathrooms that are right next to each other so depending on where you are in the campsite, it's a bit of a walk, but still isn't too bad. We were in spot 6 and I would go back in a heartbeat. It was so beautiful and so private. To be honest, I think that was the most private spot in the campground, however they are all private and beautiful. No cell service, and it's a bumpy road, but it's everything I wanted from our camping trip.

Beautiful site. Great for a family group. We enjoyed the creek and the ice caves aren’t that far away.

Very nice campground for our family reunion. Had it not been for constant wasps and hornets everywhere (I’m talking hundreds! Flying all around the tables and into tents) and multiple stings on several kids, it would have been perfect for us. It’s a beautiful area with several great places to set up tents and a good amount of table space. Bathroom(outhouse) was fairly well maintained and it was nice having the water access. Those wasps, however, were enough to make us not likely to ever want to return. One of our girls was even stung by one that happened to be in her sleeping bag and it chased her out of the tent, in the middle of the night, stinging her over and over again as she ran out! Needless to say, it was a pretty rough night for her. We had planned to do more family activities in our camp while we were there, but we ended up opting to find other things to do in the area just so we could get away from the swarms of those nasty stinging pests. We realize it can’t always be perfect, but it would be nice if there could be a little more maintenance done on the nests in the campground area to help keep stings to a minimum at least. We are just thankful that no one in our camp was allergic to the stings!

Overall we enjoyed camping. However we did not enjoy the many dogs that were not on leashes roaming the campground.

Such a peaceful, quiet place. Site 9 was just near the creek. Saw a moose drinking near the spring. This is what camping is all about.

Lots of bugs - only reason why gave it four stars. Bring spray, candles, whatever you can! Beautiful area, shady, private, and clean.

The Paris Springs Campground was beautiful and quiet. All sites there were reservation only in late June, 2021. The individual sites have access to the Paris Springs creek but the group sites do not. Individual sites were flat and could accommodate tents, but not trailers over 28'. It was a short, easy hike to the springs area and even the young children liked the hike. Group sites 1 and 2 did not have good shade or privacy but had good parking. The bathrooms were kept clean and there is a host on site. While we were there the mosquitos were voracious and even bit through our clothing-bring lots of repellant and wear hats! The faucet water in the campground is from the spring and the Forest Service does not test it. We took our own drinking water.

Nice and quiet. Group site #2 was great for our family group of adults and kids of all ages. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed two nights at this campground at site 11. It was removed from most other sites and right next to the creek, which was fun for the kids. Camp hosts were very nice and we enjoyed talking with them. Only complaint is the site is right next to the road which didn’t offer much privacy from other guests passing by. Otherwise it was a great place to camp and not too crowded during the week.

The Camp sites are NOT at all close to the size listed online, If my husband wasn't particularly good at backing up the trailer, it simply would not have gotten into the spot. The camp hosts were friendly, but the group site occupants were extremely rude. Kids running around unsupervised, screaming bloody murder, walking though people's sites, playing in the road (around blind curves no less), and being completely obnoxious. Don't get me wrong, we have kids, but we are very aware of camp etiquette. The host's spot was quite far from the other campsites, so this behavior went unchecked. We weren't even that close to the group site, and kids were still running through our dinner. We aren't superstitious at all, but the place also had a very bad "vibe". We left early because it felt so creepy there. Just google Paris, Idaho and see what comes up.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
